A Moment in The Sky, Thoughtfully Made for Her

April 27, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Park Hyatt Kuala Lumpur marks Mother’s Day with a series of dining experiences across the hotel, accompanied by a limited retail selection. At Park Lounge, Mother’s Day Afternoon Tea will be served from 8 to 10 May. The menu moves between savoury and sweet, including Arctic shrimp salad, scallop dumpling with Muoi Ot Xanh, and pink guava sorbet, with the dessert trolley brought through the room as part of the experience.

On 10 May, Merdeka Grill will host its Mother’s Day Sunday Brunch, set against views of Kuala Lumpur. The menu follows a sequence of savoury and sweet courses, including Hamachi Crudo with pickled kohlrabi and horseradish cream, alongside a selection of seasonal dishes and desserts. Mothers will receive a gift of artisanal bath salts, along with a spa credit. A flower bouquet-making session with the in-house florist is available at an additional charge.

“A Moment for Her” by Chef Holger Deh, the Bakery Bar collection brings together a series of artisanal cakes and pastries, created with balance, clarity, and care. Signature whole cakes include the Penang Vanilla Mille Feuille Fleur,” Mango Passion Yuzu Entremet, and Matcha Black Sesame Cake, alongside a selection of petit gateaux and a thoughtfully composed Mother’s Day gift set featuring handcrafted chocolate bonbons. Available now for pre-order and takeaway, the collection offers a meaningful way to extend the celebration, whether shared at home or given as a gesture of appreciation. A quiet celebration of love, care, and the enduring bonds that shape us. Through culinary artistry, gentle rituals, and curated indulgences, it becomes an invitation to slow down, gather, and hold time a little more gently with the women who matter most.
