This year, award winning Chinese restaurant Chynna at Hilton Kuala Lumpur headed by Chef Lam Hock Hin and his dim sum masterchef, Chef Woo, is introducing a bold and unique savoury sweet mooncake to the market in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival. This year, the Mid Autumn ths year is delighted with the variety of flavours to choose for.

One of the signature to look forward for this upcoming mooncake will be their new savoury sweet mooncake which is the Fiery Phoenix (RM 29 each) where it brings you with the combination of spices which is like the lemongrass and the five spice powder. Added to it is the piquant sensation from the chilli padi and the tomyum paste which is not too overpowering and nicely balanced. Not just that, the exciting blend of the sun-dried scallop and dried shrimp flavour combine with the aromatics give out an interesting burst of flavours.

Back by a popular demand, their Heavenly Gold Mooncake (RM 42 each) inspired by the crème de la crème of durians , Musang King continues to be the top seller on the mooncake list. Using only the fresh premium Musang King Durian, the Heavenly Gold Mooncake is so pure that the only added element is the delicate snow skin that envelopes the delicious durian filling resulting in a mouthful of heavenly bliss in every bites. With just a bite of it the taste is absolutely heavenly with the melts in the mouth sensation.

Asides for the two signatures, Hilton KL do have a range of traditional and snow skin mooncake. The traditional baked mooncakes comes with the choice of Baked White Lotus Paste (RM 27), Baked Lotus Paste with Single Yolk (RM 27), Baked Pandan Paste with Single Yolk (RM 27), Baked Red Bean Paste with Almond Flakes (RM 27), Baked White Lotus Paste with Single Yolk (RM 27) and Traditional-style Baked with Five Nuts (RM 28)

And for the snow Skin, they have the NEW Special flavours which is the Fiery Phoenix (RM 29), Blue Moon ( Snow Skin Amaretto Paste with Blueberry Cheese Feuillantine (RM 27)), Flower Drum (Snow Skin Lotus Paste with Soft Custard Egg Yolk (RM 27), and the Heavenly Gold (RM 42)
