2015 MOONCAKE @ SHANGRI-LA HOTEL KUALA LUMPUR

September 11, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

This year, Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur has prepared 12 varieties of mooncakes to mark the festival. The mooncakes, presented in uniquely designed boxes, make perfect gifts for family, friends and corporate clients.

This year, five new flavours of mooncakes have been introduced, taking their place beside the classic, traditional mooncakes. As many knows, the mooncake from Shangrila had never disappoint me at anytime.

This year, Shangri La KL comes with their 4 new mooncakes which is the Yam lotus seed paste with single yolk, Shanghai pandan lotus seed paste with single yolk . Mini ping pei black sesame seed with yolk and the Mini ping pei chocolate with almond and hazelnut.

Asides from this, they have the Red bean paste , White lotus seed paste with single yolk , Mini ping pei durian , Assorted nuts and sun-dried fruits , Mini ping pei green tea and the Mini ping pei with custard and bird’s nest.

For me, I love the White Lotus Seed Paste which is well done and not too sweet. Each mouthful is so good and give you with the melts in the mouth sensation. Double thumbs up!

The Mini ping pei durian is also one of my favorite. The thin skin with the fragrant aromatic durian blend is something nice to have too. It is indeed well made and every mouthful of the durian is sinfully good.

A rebate voucher of MYR 20 for use at Shang Palace, Lemon Garden Cafe, Zipangu and Lafite will be given for every mooncake gift box purchased.

In addition, the following discounts will be offered:
