LOBBEE THAI CONNECTION @ EMPIRE DAMANSARA

August 19, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

Located at a secluded corner of Empire Damansara; Lobbee brings you the flavours of Thai with the discerning palate of Malaysian. Lobbee, a name derived from their specialty lobster and the head chef’s name Bee, has a rather simple, clean and modern dining setting with comfortable environment and serves reasonably priced good food.
LOBBEE

Sesame shrimp (RM8)

Starts off with the starters, Lobbee is indeed brings you with quite a variety of starters to choose from where you can savour the Lobbee’s chicken skewers (RM9), Fried Potato with Thai Salad Dressing (RM 11.00) and many more. We started off ours with the Sesame shrimp (RM8). The crunchy shrimps deep fried till golden brown and served with the piping spicy sauce is simply addictive.

LOBBEE
Thai Squid Cake (RM 12)
Not alike the usual thai squid cake, Chef had made an extra effort to add in some squid in between bringing you the bouncy texture of the squid cake with the touch of chewy bites.

LOBBEE
Thai Crab Cake (RM 13)
Bringing you another signature of Lobbee, another must try is their Thai Fish Cake which is where the crab meat fillings, topped with the beaten egg and deep fried till perfectionist. It is indeed something nice to go for before meal for some crunchy, moist and juicy bites.
LOBBEE
Spicy Salmon Salad (RM 14)
Bringing you with the kick of spiciness, the spicy salad is served with the salmon fillet in cubes, fresh cabbage, and raw long beans. It is well mix and combination with the burst of spiciness with some crunchiness from the salmon and cabbage. Nice !
LOBBEE

Lobbee Combo (RM 98.00)
Star of the night will be the huge seafood tomyam which suits up to 4 pax to share.
The huge combo comes with the cuts of lobster, king crab legs, salmon, squid, mussels & soft-boiled eggs with a choice of Thai instant noodles, kuey teow, flat noodles or vermicelli in a tangy-savoury broth. The ingridients absolutely fresh and it is indeed heavenly with a kick of spicness and souriness in it.

LOBBEE
Thai Peanut Tomyam Noodle (Soup/ Dry) (RM 13)

There are also many single plate orders which is more affordable in price to go for. Not only serving Lobster Noodles, they do have the Noodle in Pink (RM 13) Peanut Noodles (RM 13), Green Curry Fried Rice (RM 16) and many more. We had the Thai Peanut Tomyam Noodle (Soup/ Dry) (RM 13) which is indeed very special. Tossed with the crushed peanuts, flat noodles, and deep fried items comes simply good and delicious. Something unique to go for!
LOBBEE
As for the desserts, they comes simply creative too. As for now all diners are being given a complimentary servings portion of the Blue Ruby with Coconut & Jackruit. Unique in its colour; the taste is definitely a good one.
