TRADITIONAL MOONCAKES RETURN TO THE ROYAL GARDEN WITH NEW EGG CUSTARD FLAVOR

July 7, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

No Mid-Autumn Festival is complete without indulgent mooncakes which signify togetherness of family. This year, The Royal Garden has prepared various attractive mooncake selections including white lotus seed paste with egg yolks, Yunnan ham with mixed nuts, as well as the newly launched egg custard filling. Apart from the mooncake gift boxes, vouchers and elegant gift hampers are also available. Guests can enjoy more than 20% early-bird discount for orders placed on or before September 1, 2015.

White lotus seed paste with two egg yolks mooncake features smooth white lotus seed paste with shiny golden egg yolks. The moon cakes are scrumptious with rich aromas and contrasting textures.

Chinese ham with mixed nuts mooncake is a healthy alternative to traditional mooncakes. The five types of nuts include olive seed, walnuts, almond, watermelon seed and sesame and are considered to be cardioprotective, frequently recommended by dietitians to be incorporated in our diets. Boasting sweet and fragrantly nutty filling, its tate is enriched by select ham from Yunnan which adds a salty relish to the creation.

Mini egg custard mooncake brings novelty to the classic selections. The small yet charming medallion boasts a gilded surface encasing velvety custard fillings. A delicate balance between condensed milk and egg yolk contribute to the mild sweetness and sets this festive favorite apart from its peers.

Mooncake vouchers and festive hampers (prices starting from $2,888) can be found at Fine Foods. Special discounts will be offered to purchases of over 100 boxes or more. Call 2733 2045 now for orders and enquiries.
