This year, for the holy month Intercontinental Kuala Lumpur teams up with a Malaysia Celebrity Chef- Chef Zamzani Abdul Wahab fondly known as Chef Zam to bring you the sensationally delicious local cuisine experience to the next level.

This year, starts your buka puasa here in Serena Brasserie with the variety of delights from the western style of salads to the Malaysian style of salads includes the Kerabu jantung pisang, Kerabu pucuk paku , Kerabu manga muda dengan daun pudina,Kerabu manga muda, Ulam ulam kampong,Sambal Belacan, sambal tempoyak sambal cencaluk,sambal budu, Paru goreng berempah, Ikan bilis goreng bawang and many more.

Accompanied with the pipping Sambal Belacan, sambal tempoyak sambal cencaluk and sambal budu.For those who love the sourish delights before starting their meal, they have the selection of the Jeruk buah kedondong, Jeruk buah kelubi, Jeruk buah manga and the Jeruk buah pala

Seafood on the Ice is indeed a corner not to be missed in Serena Brasserie where you can enjoy the fresh lovely seafood from the US and Fin de Claire oysters, Australian spanner crab, baby lobster, blue swimmer crab, NZ green lips mussels, pacific prawns, blue yabbies’, slipper lobsters, Harvey bay half shell scallop till the Alaskan king crab. Not just that, sushi and sashimi is availble too in their buffet spread where enjoy the freshly cutted Norwegian Salmon, and the variety of sushi which includes the Kani maki, California maki, salmon nigiri, ebi nigiri, Inari, and sushi gari. Don’t missed their Stall roast carving which you can enjoy the Roasted whole lamb with garlic and thyme, Roasted Potatoes and grilled vegetables, Rosemary and garlic sauce.

Live station grilled is also available where you can pamper your self with the famous Muar Otak otak and ayam percik with sauces and condiments.

Don’t miss the Meat Craving Station where you can enjoy the Pink pepper macadamia crusted Australian beef, Yorkshire pudding,Trio roasted potato, grilled rustic vegetable, pommerry jus and the homemade hickory smoked barbeque sauce.The Live Station for Pasta is also available. Choose the type of pasta you love from the Fusilli, Spaghetti, Penne pasta and cooked them with the variety of cooking option from the Rustic Tomato sauce,Cream Sauce. Bolognaise, Aglio – Olio With selection of condiments semi dried tomatoes, mushroom, olive, cocktail onion.

The Stall Celup – Celop Tepong is indeed interesting and nice. Instead of grilling, Ayam, Ikan, sotong, udang, ketam, paru, hati ayam and pedal is being dipped with the batter and deep fried.

For more mains, they have the Malay Island Corner where you can enjoy loads of traditional Malay foods like the Gulai udang, kerutuk daging,Singang sotong hitam,Gulai telur itik, Ikan sembilang salai lemak pucuk paku, Pucuk manis dengan ubi keledek, Lamb shank cooked with cumin and tomato, Ketam berlado, Hati ayam masak kicap, and also ayam rendang. The Nasi dagang Terengganu with gulai ikan tongkol and condiments is also avaialble n the buffet.

For those who are looking for more items to go, Serena Brasserie do have their varoius spread like the Asian and Continental Stall which filled your tummy with the Sautéed asparagus with garlic and soya , Stir fried chicken Kung po style, Gratin potato with trio cheese, Slice roast beef, summer vegetable and thyme jus and the Sautéed new Zealand Mussel, slice garlic and chili flake .

It is not end yet! Do pamper yourself with the variety of Desserts where they have the Bengkang Telur Manis, Serikaya Telur,Penganan Labu,Hati Kesuma Terembas,Puteri mandi,Wajid durian, Date cake, Pandan Cheese cake, Chocolate mocha cake, Black Forest cake, Sago Gula Melaka with palm sugar and coconut milk, Fruits Flan Cake, Dodol, Fruit Jelly, Assorted malay cookies and more. They have also hot desserts like the Bubor biji nangka dengan sago.

They have also chocolate fountain too. Dipped your Marshmallow, Strawberry, Dates, Lady Finger, Dried Apricot and Melon Balls in the lovely thick chocolate fountain.

Of course, ends your meals iwth the Tropical Fruit Slices which includes the Sliced watermelon, papaya, rock Melon, dragon fruit and the Mixed local seasonal fruits

The “Selera Pantai Timur bersama Chef Zamzani “ is available from 8 to 17 June 2015 where huest will have the chance to savour all of the East Coast’s Favorites the relaxing ambiences of Serena Brasserie during the buffet dinner from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm priced at RM 128 nett per adult and RM 64 per child.

“The Journey of Malaysian East Coast Flavours” will continue to be featured during the Serena Brasserie’s Berbuka Puasa Buffet from 18 June to 15 July 2015. Dinner buffet is priced at RM 139 nett per adult on the first and fourth week of the month of Ramadhan and RM 152 nett per adult on the second and third week of Ramadhan. Spacious prayer room located at Level 5 is available for the convenience of Muslim guest with separate Male and female Prayer room.
