PIERRE GAGNAIRE BRINGS PARISIAN SUMMER TO MANDARIN ORIENTAL, HONG KONG

Legendary chef Pierre Gagnaire returns to his two-Michelin-starred restaurant, Pierre, on the 25th floor of Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong to launch his “Air de Paris” summer tasting menu from 15 to 20 June, 2015. He will bring the flavour of Paris to Hong Kong using exquisite French ingredients available during the summer.

Chef Gagnaire has specially created a five-course and a seven-course tasting menu priced at HKD 1,188* and HKD1,588* respectively, which will still be available after his departure. The restaurant will be adorned with a Parisian flair whilst Gagnaire will be present for both lunch and dinner throughout this period.

**Bavaroise of red bell pepper with mint, grilled eggplant cubs with black olive
Jelly of aniseedflavoured tomato, Paris mushroom
Broth of broad beans, peas, Paris ham and parmesan cheese gnocchi

Biscuit of foie gras, craquottes potatoes and summer white truffle

Pan-fry of chanterelle mushrooms 6 rue Balzac

** Fricassée of blue lobster Maxim’s
Pink champagne butter, braised lettuce
Lobster bisque, parsley Chantilly

** Heart of beef fillet, sauce Champs-Elysées, slow-simmered of shallots and turnips
Ice-cream of spinach, snails Forts des Halles

** Cheese selection with condiments

** Pierre Gagnaire’s grand dessert  * Prices do not include 10% service charge.
