CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR BUFFETS AT LEMON GARDEN CAFE, SHANGRI-LA HOTEL, KUALA LUMPUR

Celebrate Christmas and New Year at the Lemon Garden Cafe at Shangri-La Hotel, Kuala Lumpur as it lays out festive buffet spreads for lunch and dinner.

On Christmas Eve there is the International Buffet Lunch with Christmas goodies, at RM95++ for adults and RM47.50++ for children.

The Christmas Eve dinner, at RM210++ for adults and RM105++ for children, will be a luscious buffet spread with Tomahawk Beef with Yorkshire Pudding, Cheese Crusted Salmon with Saffron Bearnaise Sauce, Chargrilled Figs with Aged Balsamic and Pan Seared Foie Gras with Mini Brioche and Apple Compote and Snow Crabmeat Soup with Chives and Croutons among other dishes.

Desserts on the buffet include Dresden Stollen Fruit Bread with Marzipan, Pannettone with Chocolate Ganache, Christmas Snowball Chocolate Truffles Tower, Eggnog Crème Brulee and many more.

On Christmas Day, the buffet lunch at RM160++ for adults and RM80++ for children, features at the carvery Roasted Prime Rib with baked potato, smoked beef brisket, sour cream and black pepper sauce, and Salmon Wellington with Lemon Butter Sauce.
There are main courses like Salmon Papillote with Lemon Wedges, Grilled Lamb Cutlet with roasted mushrooms and gremolata and Miso Marinated Chicken Thigh with grilled butternut pumpkin.

Desserts like Warm Christmas Pudding with Vanilla Pod Butter Sauce, Lemon Curd with Meringue Shooter and Gingerbread White Chocolate Mousse, among several others, end lunch on a sweet, heavenly note.

New Year at Lemon Garden Cafe

Welcome in 2015 at Lemon Garden Cafe with the New Year’s Eve Buffet Dinner, at RM238++ for adults and RM119++ for children.

On the buffet are gourmet dishes like Roasted Whole Lamb with Rosemary Sauce, Truffle Veloute with enoki mushrooms and herb croutons, Duck Leg Confit with Roasted Eringi mushrooms and Figs and Peppermint Crusted Lamb Cutlets, Baby Shallots and Pesto Cream.

On the Asian side, savour Peking Duck, Lamb Shank Biryani and Baked Whole Red Snapper with Percik Sauce, among other dishes.

The dessert selection includes Black Forest in a Glass, Hazelnut Cream Puffs, New Year Macaroon Tower, New Year Cupcakes, Irish Coffee Chocolate Fudge Cake, among others.

On New Year’s Day, delight in a buffet lunch with family and friends, at RM138++ for adults and RM69++ for children.

Enjoy Poached Salmon Fillet with Caviar and Lemon Herb Butter, Braised Beef Cheek with Pearl Vegetables and Ragout of Prawns in Saffron Butter while going to the carvery for Beef Rump with Black Pepper Sauce and Yorkshire Pudding.

For dessert, you would love it at the Crepe Station, choosing the different condiments and compotes you would want with your crepes.  The New Year Macaroon Tower is not to be missed, nor the Strawberry Tower.
