AMERICAN BARBECUE @ UTARA CAFÉ, ARMADA HOTEL

Is time for some barbecue! From 1st November until 31st December 2014, Utara Coffee House in Armada Hotel Petaling Jaya brings you with their latest promotion which is the American Barbecue to tempt the barbecue lovers like me..

The Barbecue menu comes with 6 offerings which covers chicken, beef, lamb, fish and even seafood lovers. We astarted off with the Chicago Beef Ribs (RM 45) where the braised for hours till the meat is soft and yet maintaining the flavours and juiciness in it Topped with the generous amount of sweet onion and barbecue sauce, I love the way it is done with the mashed potato and vegetables with it.

As for the Latin American Chipotle Spring Chicken (RM 32); the chicken is indeed well marinated and smoked charbroiled Jalapeno. It is then being served with the potato and farmer’s vegetables. The dish is awesomely good with the healthy blend in it.

For big fans of lamb, try their Texas Osso Bocco ( RM43) where lamb shank is standing beautifully at our table . The lamb shank with honey BBQ is marinated and charbroiled to perfection. The awesomely done delights is served with the ginger mustard BBQ Sauce. What we love is the lamb shank does not bring much gammy taste in it and it is also well compliment with the sauce that is being served.

For those who are looking for a mix delights, try their Hawaian Barbecue Mix (RM 40.00) where the barbecue mix comes with the hearty combination of beef, chicken, and lamb cutlet. Well carboiled and served with the pineapple hot sauce. I love the chicken which is being charboiled where it brings us with the fragrant blend which comes from the marination.

Another signatures to try off is the BBQ Salmon Steak ( RM32) where it comes with the generous portion of delights. The BBQ Salmon Steak is well marinated with lemon, and the salmon steak grill comes awesomely good with the serving of avocado tomato salsa, potato and farmer’s vegetable. The dish comes appetizing with the tomato salsa which is being served and every mouthful comes awesomely good.

We ended with the Fisherman Treat (RM38) which is the combination of mix and match of seafood where it comes with seafood, fish, prawn, mussel and squid served with garden salad and lemony BBQ sauce. The awesomely prepared delights which I am pampered for is sinfully good and addictive too .

It is such a great treat here at Utara Café and fans of barbecue should not miss the great temptations. Hop to Armada Hotel to try off their ‘American BBQ’ menu soon!
