A FRESH TAKE ON ‘BEST OF MALAYSIA: SEAFOOD BUFFET DINNER’ AT CHATZ BRASSERIE

Come 17 October, diners can look forward to ‘Seafood Buffet Dinner’ which makes a return to Chatz Brasserie. Available until 27 December, it features a variety of quality seafood choices, as well as fresh

‘Seafood Plates of Pleasure’ with mud crabs cooked in six flavours, steamed fish and sea cucumber. Experience an endless variety of marine harvest namely, gratinated oysters, fresh sashimi and sushi,
grilled seafood ranging from stingray, pomfret and parrot fish, poached prawns, clams, shellfish such as black mussel and slipper lobster, together with a wide range of Malaysian and international favourites.

The seafood platter offers a bountiful supply of smoked salmon, peppered mackerel, eel and smoked
oyster. From the salad bar, the Caribbean Shrimp Salad, Mussel with Apricot and Thai Chilli or Roasted Eggplant with Salmon Roe and Tomato Coulis are presented in dainty, miniature glasses. Main dishes such as Stir-fried Squid with Ginger and Dried Chilli, Chinese Spicy Prawns, Steamed Fish with Soy Sauce and Coriander, Baked Spicy Crab Pudding, Fish Head Curry and Balitong Lemak Batang Keladi providediners with a more extensive range of seafood.

At the a la minute counter, get our chefs to whip up an Oyster Omelette or even a la Western Fish and Chips. Whilst heading back to your table, pick up a slice of Seafood Pizza on the way. The Baked Salmon in Pate Dough is a sensation among diners as this dish usually disappears within an hour after it is served.

While dining to ‘Seafood Buffet Dinner’, diners will also be able to order ‘Seafood Plates of Pleasure’ with the mud crabs which are back by popular demand. Cooked in six signature flavours, they are Kam Heong  Crab, Butter Meat Crab, Wok-fried Meat Crab with Salted Egg, Wok-fried Chilli Meat Crab, Wok-fried Crab in Marmite Sauce and Sweet and Sour Meat Crab. It is priced at RM78 nett for one crab, RM138 nett for two crabs and RM268 nett for four crabs. If fish is the preference, the steamed grouper or sea bass cooked in Superior Shoyu Sauce, Sichuan Taupan Sauce or Garlic Sauce is available at RM78 nett per fish. Also included in ‘Seafood Plates of Pleasure’ is Braised Sea Cucumber in Sichuan Style. This spicy dish can be prepared for two to four persons, priced at RM108 nett. For a bigger group of five to eight persons, it is
available at RM158 nett.

The ‘Seafood Buffet Dinner’ is available on Friday and Saturday from 6:30pm to 10:30pm, priced at RM128 nett per person. Included in this buffet package is unlimited flow of juices and soft drinks. If you would like to enjoy unlimited flow of juices, soft drinks, as well as up to three glasses of pouring wine or Tiger draft, you may purchase the buffet at RM168 nett per person. Special savings apply for selected bank cardmembers.
