June 26, 2014 by StrawberrY Gal

Ever think of enjoying ramadhan in a “Fine Dining Style”? An European colonial style house with the delicious ramadhan delights is not to be forgotten here. In Colonial which had opened not too long ago have their first ramadhan promotion to pamper your tastebuds.

Entering the restaurant ; with the greatings and great services is something had touched my heart when I entered the “luxurious” shopping mall- The Intermark. The lovely restaurant is serving Chinese dishes with a touch of Western and classy modern furnished is just a perfect place to get your seats here and enjoy your buffet.

From 30th June – 27th July, you’ll get to enjoy a good variety of dishes for RM88.00++ per adult/RM48.00++ per child. For those who are keen to get a discount, you can also purchase the buffet voucher in advance for just RM70.00 nett! In Incolonial; their menu is not too extensive but their spread is pretty good in its quality. During each buffet spread, you can be sure to have their 8 signature main dishes, their signature fried rice, and signature fried noodles, desserts & even beverages.

We started with the Skewers of Satays. With 3 different choices of satay available – Satay Lamb Skewers, Satay Chicken Skewers & Satay Beef Skewers ; you will be definite to have what you love for. The skewers are not too charred grilled but they comes with the juicy and moist texture and what’s more there is no fats at all which I love about it. Each piece comes with the complete flavours that are simply a good one. As for the peanut sauce; it comes pretty well which is not too spicy and it is just nice as it is.

Other appetizers that is being served includes the Mango Salad Prawn, Lemongrass Chicken Meatballs & Fried Wantan. The lovely appetizers come with the combination of sweet and savory bites. The Mango Salad Prawns comes pretty awesome with the crunchy bites with the burst of juiciness with it. As for the wanton; no complain the taste is as good as it is.

The Crispy lamb Rack comes to our favorites where the the Australian lamb racks comes pretty juicy and crispy texture. It is well done without any gamey taste in it. The fragrant taste of the lamb which is well marinated is filled with the fermented beancurd taste. It’s an awesome bites to go for at Incolonial.

As for the Scallion Chicken Chop; it is well done with the tender juicy bites of the chicken thigh which is well marinated till perfection. The tender juicy-licious delights comes awesome with the touch of fragrance of the sauces in it. The awesome bites took my hearts away!

Black Pepper Ribeye comes amazingly good and everyone on the table put a thumbs up on this The meat is superlicious with the tender and juicy texture. Once a bite; the flavours bursting in the mouth with the taste of black pepper in it is simply awesome! We even get a bowl of rice to accompany it and it is super-licious!

Lemon Fish Fillet comes with the sourish and savory taste. The taste comes awesome but it is slightly too salty to my preference. But, if it is accompany with rice; it would be pretty good blend of it. Aside from the saltiness; the taste is good and the fish remains fresh .

As for the prawns, it is so good. Crispy textured of the fresh prawns and loaded with lots of roes and well deep fried till perfection and swimming in the wholesome bowl of savory sourish gravy. It is simply delicious as it is.

We ended with the ‘Golden Fragrance’ Hokkien Mee. Not the usual Hokkien Mee; but it is a taste of “kam heung lala” style of Hokkien Mee which is fried with the fragrant curry leaves, curry powder, dried shrimp, lala, noodles and dark soya sauce. Impressively done, the dish is just so good and delicious.

Do not missed your Ramadhan Temptations here. Though they do not have extensive buffet spread; but the spread is simply going to tempt you till the fullest.

Well, we are being surprised by the chef where they served us with their UPCOMING NEW PROMOTION– the Alio Scallops. The scallops is being stir fried with the huge size where you can get the fried garlic together with the sweet and savory taste. The scallops well coated with the batter and it brings us with the complete juiciness in it. I am loving it! The serving comes generous with 5 large scallops for the price of RM68.00/serving.
