Following a successful launch of the ultra-exclusive ‘Nuptials In the Know’ Wedding Series, premium luxury hotel InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is unveiling the second series on June 21, 2014 connecting bridal couples-to-be with a lineup of new experts in the wedding industry.

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s Nuptials In the Know 2nd Wedding series will be held at the newly renovated luxe Grand Ballroom with tagline Culture, Expertise and Cuisine. Featuring quintessential wedding insights from traditional customs and rituals to wedding planning, designer wedding gowns as well as tailoring the Big Day’s menu, the second wedding series is a gainful experience made available for all interested bridal couples-to-be looking for a luxurious venue and to be ‘In the Know’.

The fresh list of InterContinental Wedding Gurus for the second series brings forth Alfred Chan, Master of Wedding Chaperone and Emcee; Stephen Foong, veteran Wedding Planner; and reputed Wedding Dress Designer, Celest Thoi. Newly appointed General Manager, Mr. Hafidh Al-Busaidy said that he was excited to see the second series with new local industry experts to continuously offer guests a memorable and enriching experience on top of the venue and service par excellence.

“The Nuptials In the Know Wedding Series is a great window for bridal couples-to-be to gain real insights through the InterContinental Wedding Gurus that are one of the best in the Kuala Lumpur market,” said Mr. Al-Busaidy.

Helping you create unique memories that will last forever for your guests, MasterChef Wong Lian You of award-winning Tao Chinese Cuisine will be on hand to introduce the exquisite wedding set menu that has been specially crafted to symbolise the wonderful celebration of the happy couple.

Bringing back the traditional wedding customs and ritual is Alfred Chan who has experience in the wedding industry for over seven years. The master of bridal chaperoning and emcee will be guiding modern day couples on betrothal proceedings and auspicious do’s and don’ts to ensure a rosy start to the marriage.

Other significant element will be introduced by very much sought-after wedding planner, Stephen Foong who has been assisting guests with luxury wedding planning and design. Sharing his professional experience, Stephen will be helping guests to plan and create the ultimate wedding checklist based on timeline leading up to the Big Day achieving seamless celebration for the bride and groom.

Wedding dress couturier, Celest Thoi will be making an appearance at Nuptials In the Know 2nd Wedding Series with an enchanting fashion showcase of her avant-garde collection. A fantastic opportunity for enthusiastic brides-to-be to consult the designer, Celest Thoi herself would be on hand to advise and design ethereal wedding dresses to make any bride feel like a goddess.

More wedding partners present during the wedding series are traditional Chinese wedding costume by Golden Dragon Phoenix, refined wedding jewellery on display by De Beers Diamond Jewellers Malaysia, professional photography services by Jim Liaw Photography and professional makeup and hair styling by Michelletouche.

Bridal couples-to-be who books their wedding reception during the Nuptials In the Know 2nd Wedding Series will be entitled to further benefits of one complimentary table for every ten tables purchased, RM2,000.00 purchase rebate at De Beers Diamond Jewellers Malaysia and they will be in the running to win a luxurious 3 days / 2 nights honeymoon stay at InterContinental Bali as well as pre-wedding photography package by well-known professional photographer Jim Liaw, who has won many photography awards globally. InterContinental Kuala Lumpur World of Wedding packages starts from RM2,199++ onwards per table of ten.
