ALL THINGS NASI LEMAK AT COFFEE HOUSE

A well-loved Malaysian dish, Nasi Lemak takes centre stage at Coffee House this January. Relish this ‘national dish’ in various enticing ways for your dining pleasure, from the delicious rice selection to a medley of accompanying meats and the delightful sambal. Available a la carte for lunch and dinner, the Nasi Lemak promotion is priced at RM27.00++ per selection.

To start off, diners may choose from three types of rice – Nasi Lemak Beras Basmathi (Coconut-scented Basmathi Rice), Nasi Lemak Beras Perang (Coconut-scented Brown Rice) or the highly recommended Nasi Lemak Daun Pandan (Coconut and Screwpine-scented Rice). For the meat dish, there are Paru Goreng Sambal Berlada (Fried Beef Lungs and Spicy Sauce), the fragrant Ayam Bakar Berempah (Grilled Spicy Chicken) and Rendang Daging (Spicy Coconut Beef Stew). Seafood lovers will enjoy the Sambal Sotong (Hot Tangy Cuttlefish), Ikan Goreng Berlada (Fried Crispy Fish with Onions in Spicy Sauce) and the Sambal Udang Harimau (Fried Tiger Prawns in Thick Sauce).

Each order of nasi lemak set will be accompanied by acar, hard-boiled egg, sliced cucumber, fried anchovies and peanuts and the all-important sambal goreng.

Coffee House is situated at Level 9 of the Hotel, high above the hustle and bustle of the city traffic. The opening hours of are from 6.30 am to 1.00 am. Reservations are highly recommended.
