SEASONAL SPECIALITIES AT INTERCONTINENTAL KL: JAPANESE RESTAURANT TATSU OFFERS AUTHENTIC WINTER RECIPES

InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s signature Japanese restaurant Tatsu will be serving the finest cuts of Japanese Yellow Tail from 10th January – 31st January 2013 with a ‘Taste of Kan Buri’ menu, priced between RM22++ and RM220++ per piece.

In line with InterContinental Kuala Lumpur’s commitments to working with treasured seasonal ingredients, Tatsu’s award-winning Executive Japanese Chef Tetsuya Yanagida has sourced the highest quality cuts of the Japanese winter favourite.

The ‘Taste of Kan Buri’ menu will be available every day throughout the period as either a classy lunch option between midday and 2.30pm, or as an elegant evening dining experience from 6.00pm until 10.30pm.

The menu will include expertly crafted sushi options, with handmade Japanese Yellow Tail nigiri (RM22++) making a perfect introductory dish, and finer cuts reserved for Japanese Yellow Tail Sashimi (RM80++).

For those looking for the nostalgic taste of an authentic Japanese winter warmer, the menu also includes hot dishes such as Grilled Japanese Yellow Tail with Teriyaki Sauce (RM120++), and Japanese Yellow Tail Teppanyaki with Soya Butter Sauce (RM120++), as well as Japanese Yellow Tail and Radish Soup Hot pot (RM220++).

Tatsu, located at level 1 of the InterContinental Kuala Lumpur is a premier, upscale Japanese restaurant. Deriving its name from the word “Tatsu-jin” meaning master or expert, Tatsu brings a sophisticated twist to the traditional dining experience as it combines a subtle blend of Japanese aesthetics with contemporary yet minimalist design.  Helmed by award-winning Executive Japanese Chef, Tetsuya Yanagida, Tatsu has a capacity of 147 seats, with five choices of dining seating styles from the sushi bar, a teppanyaki room, private dining rooms, public dining area to a cozy lounge dining area.
