ULTIMAXX CAFÉ, BAYAN LEPAS

November 17, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 3 Comments

Ultimaxx Cafe is one of the coffeeshop in Penang just a couple of walks from the mall. If you are looking for more affordable food and hawker delights nearby Queensbay Mall, perhaps it would be a good choice to try off your lunch here.Parking here is slightly hard to find but you can opt to park at Queensbay Mall and walk over.

One of the stalls we tried is the Char Koay Teow stall. The char koay teow is well fried with plentiful of bean sprouts and added with bloody cockles. It will never go wrong when my char koay teow served with pork lards too. The char koay teow is well prepared with the generous portion as well as 2 large prawns.
Price: RM 4.00

Chicken rice is neverless something available all round in most coffeeshop. The choices of the braised chicken and the steam chicken is available. There is nothing much to shout about on the chicken rice as it is pretty standard meals to order in the café.
Price: RM 4.50

Last but not least, we also had prawn mee to be served as well. The prawn mee was good with the umph of the chily paste which is added to it. The soup base is thick which I love the most. Added wih thin sliced of pork meat with it is just perfect and delicious.
Price: RM 5.00

Those dishes look delicious and the pricing is cheap like what you mentioned.
