Waroeng Penyet serves Traditional Indonesian Food where they have one of the outlet located in The Curve. The restaurant was opened for quite a long time ago where it is opened by 4 Indonesians who live in Singapore. The stories are pretty long but one of the favorite item in Waroeng Penyek is the ayam penyet of course. It is located just opposite Kim Gary and it is easily spotted when you are from the escalator of the Sakar Sushi. The restaurant is pretty packed sometimes during afternoon especially lunch hour too.

We started with the Ayam Penyek which was the flatten fried chicken. Served with the tenderize meat, the ayam goreng was well marinated with the special sauce and it wasdeep fried till crunchy batter. It was then served together with the healthy tofu and tempeh with it. I awas falling in love with their explosive fiercy sambal which was just a true sensation of spiciness with it.
Price: RM 8.90

As for the Lele Penyet, the catfish is well prepared and seasoned with the sauce, and it is being deep fried till crispiness and seved with some healyhy combination with it. The delight is appetizing  and you can try out their fragrant aroma if the fish and the sambal itself.

Ayam panggang are so called Grilled chicken is another item which I love the most in Ayam Penyet. The chicken is well grilled with the herbs leaving it to have a sense of aroma in it. It’s meat is tender and juicy too and what I love the most is when t is being accompanied with the fragrant fiery sambal that give a you the umph of the meal itself.
Price: RM 9.90

Chicken Satay was good too as the chicken meat is as juicy as it is and with the not too thick peanut sauce. The succulent meat of the chicken satay is just perfectly done and the juiciness of it still maintained. It is fun sharing the sticks of satay as sidelines when dining with friends.
Price: RM 9.90
