DELECTABLE DINING AT THE EMPEROR RESTAURANT, DORSETT GRAND SUBANG

August 28, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Invited Review 1 Comment

It is always my favorite restaurant when it comes to Cantonese Cuisine. The Emperor Restaurant in Subang is one of the traditional and contemporary restaurant featuring a spectacular oil painting in private dining rooms and down to earth personalized service. It is just a perfect place not only for co-operate dining but also with family and friends for an intimate dinner. Well located at the Mezzanine floor at Dorsett Grand Subang, the restaurant specializes in Cantonese cuisine from their Executive Chinese Chef Loh Jiunn Voon

We started our meal with the chef’s speciality which is the Double Boiled Fish Maw Soup with Bamboo Pith and Vegetable. The savory soup with the hint of sweetness and nutrition is just perfectly done. By using the black chicken double boiled with the soup, the soup give us the sweet and soothing flavors.
Price:RM 55.00

One of the signature I love is the deep Fried Crispy Spring Chicken “Fung Sar”Style where the spring chicken is well prepared. Deep Fried till golden brown, the chicken meat is just tender at it is as well as the juiciness which just sinfully delicious and melts my heart too.
Price: RM 30/ pair

Stir Fried Mix Vegetable and Fresh Scallop in “Teow Chew” sauce is where the dish is being cooked with mushroom, lotus roots, asparagus, carrot, celery, and more. It is just perfectly stir fried and added with the huge scallops is just deliciously beautiful.
Price: RM 60.00

Braised home-made spinach beancurd with shimiji mushroom is something special in the menu. The smooth silky soft taufu is being served with the layered of spinach on top. It is then being topped with the chewy shimiji mushroom which is my favorite of all.
Price: RM 60.00

The wok-fried peeled prawn with home made butter sauce is some interesting delights which I love the most here too. The juicy prawns de-shelled give a twist of good flavors which tempting me much. The juiciness combine with the creamy sauce of the prawns give a great umph. What is something good that I like is I do not need to use my hand to peel the prawns skin now.
Price: RM 130.00 (L)

The Wok- Fried Egg Noodle and Fresh Water Prawn where the deliciously stir fried noodles are stuffed with the fresh large prawns. It is just perfect with the eggy taste of the flavours of noodles. The stir fried noodles does not turns soggy too after we had taking pictures for such a long time.
Price: RM 180 ( L)

We ended with something sweet in the meals, the Chilled Mango Puree with Fresh Mix Fruit and Sogo is just good and delicious as it is. Bites of waterchessnuts wih the sago and mix fruits is something cool to end our lovely meals with a sweet tought.
Price: RM 30/bowl
