Canton Kitchen had moved over to a new place after their closing down outlet in Batu Caves not long ago. The restaurant has been one of my favorite restaurants to visit when there are in Batu Caves. This time, we headed there to try out their new place. Not too difficult to find, the restaurant is well decorated with the old elements which is beautiful. The restaurant is much more bigger and more table availability and they do have private rooms in the restaurant too.

Steamed Kampung Chicken with Chinese Herbs is one of the popular item which is being served in the restaurant. This time, we had the disappointment with the food where the serving is warm. Portion is getting smaller no doubt but the savory taste of wine no longer tempted me already. The cold dish is also not really good anymore when it is being served to us.
Price: RM 15.00

Their famous Mother Soup also did not impress me too. Usually, the soup is very nutritiously taste and it had the rich herbs taste. Now the soup is nothing special to shout about where soup is served cold and there is not much ingridients as last time anymore. Taste is still the same but drinking a cold soup is indeed not satisfying though.
Price: RM 10.00

We had their Asam Prawn with Cuttlefish. Spiciness and the umpph of the dish itself is not in par. The portions is getting smaller and the serving is also cold. Freshness of the dishes is just on par but there is nothing much I can shout about the dish comparable to the last round I had it.
Price: RM 18.00

One of the items which is in par is the Sweet & Sour Fish. Taste is still good but portion is smaller now. The sweet and sour fish still brings a refreshing and yet delicious bites but the portion goes much smaller than expected.
Price: RM 15.00
