XIAO LONG BAO AT DING TAI FUNG TAIPEI

July 15, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

– Look the queue waiting in from of Din Tai Fung-

Next, we went to Din Tai Fung in Taipei where here the original Din Tai Fung starts. The restaurant is indeed packed with people and we need to make the orders and get our numbers first. Once we had get our numbers, we ticked at the paper on the choices of food we love to had and of course a MUST to have is the Xiao Long Bao.

Din Tai Fung(鼎泰豐 ) is an award-winning restaurant originating in Taiwan, specialising in xiaolongbao (small steamed buns).Outside its native Taiwan, Din Tai Fung also has its restaurant chains in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, the United States and Thailand.

– The Inside View-

And finally we had got our seat to enjoy the delighting Original Din Tai Fung Xiao Long Bao. The restaurant size is quite small compared to Malaysia where we can have spacious place for meals. It has 3 storey. The service is also very fast and the waitress and waiter are really providing a very good service. What I am impress me is the waiter and waitress are not only well verse with their mother tongue but they can speak excellent English, Japanese and more. What we had ordered?

Xiao Long Bao is one of the item we ordered in there. The Xiao Long Bao is indeed juicy with the meat and the soup inside which warmth our tummy.

We also the Shao Mai which was good too where the Shao Mai is served with a prawn on top of it.

Not to forget is the dumplings.  The dumpling is well made and it is really juicy and the taste is really lovely and good too.

Other than that, we had the shrimp pork fried rice is well fried and I am simply fall in love with the rice which is indeed fragrant as well.

Last but not least is Hot and Sour Soup which is good and the taste of the soup is really nice and flavorful. The quality of the food is indeed consistent and the taste is the same as what I am having in Malaysia too.
