The holy month of Ramadhan sees the spirit of sharing and togetherness for all Malaysians. It is a unique occasion where all, despite of religion and beliefs dines together in respect of the breaking fast, observed by the Muslim. With that, Armada Petaling Jaya welcomes all to join them in breaking fast at the Utara Coffee House with the nostalgic ‘Selera Ramadhan Ala Kampung’ promotion. Elaborately prepared by their team of professional chefs, headed by Chef Chew, ‘Selera Ramadhan Ala Kampung’ proudly presents you with over 100 tantalizing spread of authentic Kampung dishes that will definitely get you feeling all nostalgic with memories of mom’s or nenek’s (grandmother’s) cooking.

You will be spoilt for choices with the assortment of starters from Kerabus to Sushi, Lemang and Serunding, Aneka Jeruk and Garden Salad. Over at the Ulam-Ulam counter, the various Ulam awaits you with Ulam Pegaga, Ulam Raja and Petai Papan Bakar. Fire up your palate even more with the variety of authentic Sambals which one can hardly see during other occasions.

For those who love the zesty taste and tingling sensation of the Kerabu, head over to the Kerabu-Kerabu Counter and you will be pleased with their variety of Thai and Malay Kerabu.Wash it all down with local drinks of Air Bandung, Air Sirap Selaseh, Air Laici, and Teh Tarik before heading for more delicacies at the Stalls.

The Stalls section featured the best of Armada’s Ramadhan delicacies such as Satay, Otak-Otak Daun Nipah, Keropok Ikan dan Likor and the infamous Sup Tulang Lembu, Perut dan Hati served with Roti Bai. And not to forget the must-have Bubur Lambok. Not only that, they do have live counter for you to ask to grill with the assortment of seafood.

The gastronomic journey continues with the scrumptious main course. Start with the choices of rice such as Nasi Tomato Kacang Pis, Nasi Mentega Jintan Manis, Nasi Bukhari Ayam and the uniquely prepared Nasi Seafood Zaini – Chef Zaini’s Secret Recipe. Other dishes include Ayam Mas Merah Bersusu, Mutton Masalla, Kerang Cili Thai, Roast Duck Hong Kong Style, Green Beef Curry, Siput Sedut Masak Lemak Cili Padi, Black Pepper Flower Crab and Pei Pai Duck with Sweet Sauce. Indulge even further with the lip smacking Ikan Yu Masak Lemak Bernenas, Rendang Perut, Siput Sedut Masak Cili Api and Szechuan Bean curd with Seafood, Fattelal, Lobiah Ke Lahm Ghanam and Qara Be Lahmel El Ghanam.

Melt your heart away with the signature dish of Roti Durian – Roti Canai dough filled with creamy durian filling. Complete your meal by taking a bite into the heavenly desserts namely; Buah Kurma, Dodol, Kuih Melayu dan Nyonya, French Pastries, Traditional Cookies, Bubur Cha-Cha, Ice Kacang, and the chef recommended Bread and Butter Pudding with Vanilla Sauce.

You can end your email with the coffee, tea and some ice creams too.

The ‘Selera Ramadhan Ala Kampung’ is priced at RM78.00++ per person from 12th July 2013 – 7th August 2013. Also, to give you a sneak peak of what we have in store for you, we will be having the Pre-Ramadhan Buffet Dinner from the 24th June 2013 – 11th July 2013 priced at RM60.00++ per person.
