RESTAURANT MEI SIX HIN, PRIMA SRI GOMBAK

June 7, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

Venturing new food at Batu Caves area is one of our plan. Since we have moved over to a new place, we are always down for fast food restaurant around that area. This round, we had our dinner at Sri Gombak area which is around 10 minutes drive. After a few rounds of meals in Canton Kitchen, we shifted to another restaurant which is just around the area. Mei Six Hin is one of our visit for our dinner here. The restaurant is well located just a few blocks away from Cosway and you can spot the big crab sign in front of it.

When we entered the restaurant, the heavy smells of detergent is detected and I supposed they are in the midst of cleaning the restaurant? The service is ended up quite slow and we made a quick order of 3 dishes. We started with the yellow wine lala where it is really disappointed. The lala was not fresh and there is mud taste in it. Soaked with the yellow wine, the taste of the yellow wine itself comes to me is weird and heavy, We did not even able to finish them and it is just like wasting our money in ordering.
Price: RM 15.00

Lemon Chicken is our next order. The deep fried chicken is being soaked with the golden yellow lemon sauce. The chicken is just normal, nothing to shout about and I am really surprised with how it is being done. It is totally not in my mind that the preparation of Lemon chicken is just the deep fried chicken which is soaked in the lemon sauce. The taste is pretty sour and we ended up taking the chicken meat and left the skin.
Price: RM 18.00

Last dish we had the Enokitake Mushroom Beancurd. The dish is nothing special where it is cooked with 3 tyoes mushroom and the beancurd with it.
Price: RM 12.00

Overall the food ended with disappointment.

Price are subjected to 5% service charge
