Intercontinental KL’s much-lauded Serena Brasserie is celebrating the unique culinary heritage of its historic location just off Jalan Ampang with a special menu to commemorate the holy month of Ramadhan. The menu has been created to evoke the multi-sensory experience of exploring the abundantly stocked market stalls of hotel’s local Jalan Binjai Bazaar, an Aladdin’s cave of gastronomic wonders famous in the 1990s for dishes enjoyed by the city’s Islamic population after breaking their religious fast.

Showcasing the authentic dishes unique to the month of Ramadhan, the opulent menu draws inspiration from the traditional Muslim cuisine of different Malaysian states each day of the week, from the fiercy heat of chili laden Negeri Sembilan cooking to the exquisite freshness of Pahang Darul Makmur’s river fish dishes, from culinary heaven in Penang to ancient food favorites from Melaka.
