SKIPPY PIZZA, PHILEO DAMANSARA

March 29, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review 3 Comments

Pork Pizza is not an easy thing to find in Klang Valley but now they have it at Skippy Pizza which is located at Phileo Damansara. The restaurant does serves plentiful selection of pizza and not just that, they are coming up with more food choices like burgers, ribs and lamb too. The restaurant is located at the Phileo Damansara 1 which is not far away from The Star Newspaper HQ as well as Eastin Hotel. At night, there are ample parking spaces available around the area too.

– Green Salad-
– Green Salad-

We started off with some greenies before heading to the mains. Green salad well served fresh with all the green salad leave, cherry tomato, cucumber and onions. The green salad is garnished with their homemade dressing and it is a healthy dish to grab.
Price: RM 9.00

Being at Skippy Pizza, it is a must for us to grab some pizza. The enjoyment of the Meat Lovers does not failed to impress me. The pizza is topped with the superb ingredients where you can find pork bacon, pork ham, pork pepperoni, minced pork and BBQ sauce. The pizzas here are baked with thin-crust with the superb pork-licious ingredients is sinfully delicious and good.
Price: RM 32.00 ( 12 inch) ; RM 26.00 ( 9 inch)

Besides the Meat Lover is the signature there. Marc’s Special is another item which is famous there too. The pizza is made with pork ham, baby spinach, mushrooms, garlic and egg. The pizza is being served with thin crust which is quite crunchy as well.
Price: RM 32.00 ( 12 inch) ; RM 26.00 ( 9 inch)

Not only we are heading for pork delights, Skippy Pizza had come out with their new recipes which is the Skippy Special Lamb Pizza. The pizza is topped with the lamb meatballs, bell pepper, sunrise tomato, onions and olive.
Price: RM 33.90

Aside from Pizzas, we also tried their other specialty which is the pork ribs. The pork ribs are being served with potatoes and salad. The pork ribs is being well marinated and it brings the juiciness as well as tender meat with it. I am superbly falling in love with it and it is just finger lickering good with the pork ribs.
Price: RM 23.90

They not only have the normal pork ribs, they had the pork ribs which are served with 7 sauces. Homemade sauces and well marinated, each pieces of the pork ribs are well infused with the sauces and I am completely falling in love with the delectable sauce which is being served together with the ribs.

Deep Fried Chicken Wings is also available in their menu as well. Well deep fried till golden brown and it is served piping hot. The chicken wings is well made and well deep fried.

If you love to have some spaghetti, here you go with their new item- Cheesy Lamb Meatballs with Spaghetti. Thick white cheese covered with spaghetti and topped with the meatballs on it. The cheesy taste of the spaghetti is superb and with the lamb meatballs which is juicy, the spaghetti taste even better.
Price: RM 22.50

For pork lover, the cheesy pork meat ball with spaghetti is also delicious. The delights is amazingly well made with the juicy meatballs as well as the scrumptious sauce. The delicious well made spaghetti is indeed a great choice to try in Skippy Pizza.
Price: RM 18.00

Aglio Olio is another item we had where the spaghetti is well served with scrumptious chili flakes on top. It is well made with the spicy taste and I am completely falling in love with it too. Cooked al-dente, the pasta is added to my satisfaction and it does bring up the spiciness of the dish itself when it is being served.
Price: RM 15.00

Not only spaghetti, we also sampled their burgers too. The burgers which us served here are own-made burgers where the patty is sinfully delicious. The lamb burger is simply good where there is no gamey flavor even though it is no longer piping hot after our photography.

Pork Burger does not disappoint me too. The pork burger is just as juicy as it is and it is simply flavorful and well textured. It is well minced and the delights just so good and delicious.
Price: RM 12.90

We also had the chicken burger with fries. The chicken is well minced and well prepared with the juicy meat and I love with texture of it.
