RESTAURANT HO HO SEK, SS2

January 2, 2013 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review 1 Comment

Well located in SS2, the name of Mee Yoke Lim is no longer something new to the residence around the area. The same building had the major renovation and it had been renamed to a new name which is Ho Ho Sek ( in Cantonese) which is Good Food in English. The shaggy kopitiam had been revamp and it turns to a highclass kopitiam with the air condition inside and it is more cleaner as well. As for the stalls, most of the stall from the previous kopitiam are still standing there except only the Penang Prawn noodles which had moved.

This round, I made a try on the springy wantan noodles stall where the noodles are springy and served with a bowl of soup with the wantan with it. The portions the good enough for one but as for the wantan, it has totally no meat in it .
Taste: 3/5
Price:RM 5.00

Next, we ordered the Stir Fried Dried Wat Tan Hoe which is nothing to shout about. It is just a normal stir fried dish and the texture is slightly dry
Taste: 3/5
Price:RM 5.50

Hello there! I have been reading all your reviews….thanks! Armed with those I can make more informed choices on the places we eat at! I have a question…..I have recently begun a small food biz and our product – Bacon Jam – is selling excellently!! We have two variants – Bacon Jam and Bacon & Prune Jam. Was wondering if you would be able to do a review on it? A sample can be provided. Do let me know! You can visit our new FB page at – https://www.facebook.com/FiveTwoFineFoods
