Exuberant choices in celebration of the Month of Love at The Saujana Hotel KL

January 31, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

The celebration of love continues this February at The Saujana Hotel  Kuala Lumpur. With seven spectacular dining venues to choose from, celebrate Valentine’s Day  with a delicious Italian meal overlooking the scenic lake at Senja, Japanese delicacies in a traditional countryside setting at Kogetsu, or specialty cocktails and electrifying sounds of a live  band at RP Entertainment Centre.

Senja

Senja is set to melt discerning diners’ hearts with its exquisite menu and intimate ambience.  Diners can get a chance to enjoy a scenic view of the lake, along with home – made rustic Italian  cuisine prepared by Chef Filippo Giunta from Sicily. Spend this Valentine’s Day with scrumptious  set menus at Senja. The set menus are priced at RM180++ and RM360++ (with wine pairing), inclusive of a polarized picture and a stalk of rose.

To start off this night, a mouthwatering Amouse Bouche of Oyster with Fennel Confit, Cucumber and Chives Vinaigrette will be served. This will then be followed by a palatable appetizer of Salad of Marinated Prawn and Scallop served with Seasonal Mango Carpaccio and Sherry Vinegar Reduction. If that isn’t enough, there is still more to come. For the middle course, Senja will be serving up a heavenly and flavorsome Salmon Raviolo served on a bed of tomato and basil, with lobster consommé.  For the main course, guests have a choice between two separate dishes. For one, guests can have a tantalizing  Poached Fillet of Sea Bass with asparagus accompanied with sweet red pepper sauce. If this doesn’t satisfy the guests’ appetites, then they could go for the next dish. A succulent  Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, with Glazed Baby Shallots along with Baby Carrots accompanied with Thyme Reduction. No meal is complete without dessert. To end this wonderful meal, what better way to end it than with our chef’s very own divine  Chocolate Pudding, served with homemade avocado and strawberry ice cream. This is one meal not to miss during this Month of Love.

Suria Café

Overlooking the garden and swimming pool is Suria Café, an all-day dining venue that serves  local and western specialties. This Valentine’s Day, indulge in a “Chocolate Lover’s Buffet”, starting from 6:30pm onwards, inclusive of a glass  of red or white wine and ladies get a  complimentary cake and a stalk of red rose, all for RM200++ per couple.

Kogetsu

Valentine’s Day in Japan is a day where the ladies express their love for their loved ones and  give them gifts. The men reciprocate their gifts a month later. At Kogetsu, couples can treat one  another to “Teppanyaki Love”. Teppanyaki, meaning ‘iron griddle’ refers to various dishes cooked  using an iron plate. This Teppanyaki Valentine’s Day set at Kogetsu is priced at RM240++ per couple, paired with a Sparkling Japanese Citrus ‘Kozaemon’ cocktail Ti Chen. Situated in the neighboring Saujana Golf and Country Club, Ti Chen has a breathtaking view of  the fairway. This February 14, treat your loved one to a 4 course Chinese Fusion Set menu, along with a complimentary glass of house wine, and roses for the ladies, priced at RM138.80++.

RP Entertainment Centre

After dinner, why not continue the day’s celebration at the RP Entertainment Centre? Party the night away with hits performed by Hyperzone, the resident band from the Philippines. Guests can also enjoy a special ‘Poisoned Love’ cocktail for RM28++ or purchase a bottle of Ayala Champagne Brut for RM450++ with two boxes of complimentary chocolates.

For reservations, call 03 7843 1234 (ext 6122/4717) or email  [email protected] or visit www.thesaujanahotel.com
