BRISIK, JAYA ONE

January 4, 2013 by StrawberrY Gal

It is my first time being to Brisik which is located in Jaya One. It is one located at the hidden place of the Jaya One where it is located at the upper level. The restaurant which means Noise in Indonesia and the owner had opened her second restaurant with the name of it. The restaurant is cosy and comfortable and it is indeed a great place for a lazy lunch meal.

This round, I had my lunch for a colleague farewell and the plan came by since we have a Malay friends with us and we preferred to go for something pork free and halal. He had then decided for the great place where when we reached up, the smell of lemongrass is simply soothing and a nice one to have a comfortable meals. Then, we are being served with the menu and they have an a variety of dishes available. Here you go with a variety of dishes from the Thai Cuisine, Indonesian Delights as well the Western are available too.

I had the Tomyam Songkhla and served with the glass noodles. This is where the delights is well served with the spiciness and the scrumptious of seafood which includes squids and prawns with it. I love the tomyam so much which is full of spiciness.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 17.00

Nasi Timbel Java is one of the order by my colleague where the white rice is being layered with anchovies and fried onions and it is being served with tempe, tofu and the choice of chili beef or chicken with it.
Price: RM 25.50

Nasi Kampung Brisik is the next order. The pumpkin and ice is being wrapped with banana leaf and it is being served with the gulai ikan masin and fried mackeral, kangkung belachan, ulam and mackarel.
Price: RM 25.50

Last but not least, we ordered the Thai fried rice which is being served with the Thai Udang and cumi.
Price: RM 14.90
