TAPPERS CAFE , JAYA ONE

November 6, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

The Tappers cafe is one if the restaurant which is usually packed during lunch hours. The restaurant is well located in Jaya One which is just opposite Gao Ren Guan restaurant. Being well located and fair priced, the restaurant is packed with customer when we had our visit there. The place was simply perfectly designed with the homely feeling.

We made an order of a few customer favorites. The roast chicken is one of our orders the day where the chicken is being marinated with the BBQ sauce and served with the roast potato and coleslaw. The portion is not really a large one but it do taste good as well with the tender meat and the smoky BBQ Sauce layered on top of it.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 12.90

Calling up next is my usual favorites which is the Spaghetti Olio where the dish is being cooked with the 100% extra virgin olive oil and there are a choice of having the mushroom or the chicken bacon. I had mine with the choice of mushroom where the spaghetti olive oil with herbs and spice is served with oysters and shitake mushrooms really made a kick to my lunches. Portion are good enough for me and the serving is also not too oily as well.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 13.50

Tapper Hainanese Chicken Chop is one of the chef recommendations. This is where the northern hainanese style chicken chop is being served with potatos, peas and toast. The chicken is being deep fried till crispy golden brown and it is then being topped with the scrumptious delighting Hainanese style of mushroom sauce on top of it.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 12.90
