LILO ART CAFÉ, KOTA DAMANSARA

November 30, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

– The Outside View-
– The Inside View-

A pet friendly cafe is now open in Kota Damansara and the restaurant which is by the name of Lilo Art Cafe. The little cafe had inspired its name from Hawaii where Lilo means lost. In here, the small little cafe brings us to sit down and enjoy the arts of it. I am pretty impressed with the beautiful ideas as well as the renovation of the cafe which is simple and cozy. What is so nice about this restaurant is there is  a shop which caters for dogs stuff by the name of Ohana. With this, customers with dogs may order they dog meals from the next door and bring over to Lilo to enjoy.

We started our meals with the lovely Mushroom Bruschetta that is serving up a medley of mushrooms on a bed of grilled bread. The mushroom is being seasoned with sea salt as well as cracked black pepper. It’s taste is simply good and lovely as flavours of the mushroom is good and lovely.
Price: RM 8.90

Classic Tomato Bruschetta is filled with the recipes of lots of chopped tomato, basil and garlic, The classic Tomato Bruschetta does give a pint of little garlic taste which is a perfect thing for sharing during a party or even for some light bites.
Price: RM 8.90

Next we had the Spaghetti Carbonara that give us a creamy and milky texture. The spaghetti is well cooked with the combination of cream, eggs and cheese. The taste is good and well made with the creamy texture of the sauce.
Price: RM 16.90

Besides from the westerns they have also daily special set to be served as well in their menu with only RM15.90. We tried the rosemary chicken wings which is their Wednesday Set that comes with a soup of a day , Nasi Bonjari with the rosemary chicken wings and a cup of tea/coffee. For this round, we had just the rosemary chicken wings which is good where the chicken wings is well marinated with the sauce and it is well done with the juicy bites and indeed finger lickering good.
Price: RM 15.90 (Set meal)

Other than that, I had the stuffed chicken breast in mushroom sauce. It is the chef’s signature dishes of all. The lovely meals is well made and it is paired well with the minced mushroom in the middle of the chicken which makes the meal good. It is then served with the some wedges and greenies with it as well. To me, I felt it is quite salty which is caused by the mushroom sauce. The dish is temporary will be on the weekend special.
Price: NIL

Pearch Fish Fillet is also being served as well. The fish is juicy and it is served with a bed of creamy home made sauce on top of it. The fish is well served and the portion is well made. The freshness of the fish had gives the dish a plus which I am falling in love for. It is also beings served with wedges on top of it.
Price: NIL

If you like to have some spaghetti, they have it too. We had the Aglio Olio which is served with Grilled Honey Chicken. The Aglio Olio is quite special where it is served with Grilled Honey Chicken as most restaurant will served with either mushrooms or prawns. The spaghetti Aglio- Olio is quite oily to me which there is a room to improvement to me.
Price: RM 16.90

If you love to have some Malaysian delights, they do have them as well. One of the speciality Is their home signature delights which is the Lilo Fried Rice. The fried rice is just normal and it is well cooked and served with the prawns with it.

Wanna have something umpph? The tom yam fried rice is a great one with the spices and the soury taste from the tomyam. It is simply spicy as they had puts lots of chilly padi with it.
Price: RM 10.90
