MID AUTUMN FESTIVAL AT SI CHUAN DOU HUA ((四川豆花饭庄), PARKROYAL KL

September 12, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Si Chuan Dou Hua is releasing their mooncake with the traditional fare. Si Chuan Dou Hua presents to you a selection of mooncakes, made with premium ingredients. The mooncakes comes in individual pieces and also in specially designed gift boxes that are ideal to be gifted to your family, friends and business associates.

As for this year Si Chuan Dou Hua released a set of the classical traditional mooncakes to savour our taste buds for the mid autumn festival. This year, Baked White Lotus Paste with Bird’s Nest (金窝酥白莲燕窝月饼) is one of the special creation from the chef. With the fragrant lotus note, it is added with 15grams of the premium bird’s nest filling and wrapped in the traditional baked skin. How could you miss this here at Parkroyal KL?
Price: RM62.50++

Besides the bird nest mooncake, the coffee lover would not missed their Charcoal Infused Mocha Milk Tea mooncake (炭烧奶茶摩卡莲蓉月饼) . I am just loving the Charcoal Infused Mocha Milk Tea(炭烧奶茶摩卡莲蓉月饼) where the mooncake is simply fragrant with the Coffee with Tea combination and it has a light sweetness in it. The mooncakes melts in the mouth with the savory taste of the light coffee in it.
Price: RM21.00++

Calling next is another speciality mooncake which is different from the usual mooncake we had. The mooncake is not sweet but it is slightly saltiness with it. Savoury White Lotus with Shrimp Sambal (马来占白莲蓉月饼) is a good choice to try for someone who love mooncakes with different bites. The shrimp sambal which is infused in the middle is amazingly made and I just love a truly Malaysian concepts of Mooncakes.
Price: RM21.00++

Coming back to the majority favorites, Lotus Paste with Single Yolk (单黄莲蓉月饼) which is being sold here is made from the premium lotus paste and the egg yolk. The lotus paste is having a smoother texture with the strong aroma. I just love the golden yellow egg yolk in the middle which most of us would love it. I am just loving them too with the great aroma of the lotus paste.
Price: RM 20.00

If you preferred pandan, Park royal do sells them too. Pandan with Single Yolk (翡翠单黄月饼) is well made with the fragrant pandan paste and a salted egg yolk with it. The serving as exceptionally strong aroma of the pandan which is very nice. I love the milky bites of the pandan mooncakes and the flavours of thick pandan.
Price: RM 21.00++

Low Sugar White Lotus with Single Yolk (低糖白莲单黄月饼) is where the mooncake is being served with a lighter blend of sweetness. The choice is not to sweet and the overall taste works very well as well. I felt is a great idea to grab them for elderly who will be more health conscious and those who could not take sweet mooncakes.
Price: RM 23.00++
