July 2, 2012 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review, Invited Review 8 Comments

Tong Pak Fu (糖百府) Hong Kong Dessert which is blooming in Malaysia where there have more than 5 outlets now in Klang Valley. Just not long ago, they had a branch in Mid Valley as well which is located near the GSC Cinema. Tong Pak Fu (糖百府) Hong Kong Dessert is hitting the Malaysian market by storm with Tong Pak Fu’s award winning snow ice series and their best sellers.
They had indeed have an amazing arrays of the both hot and cold desserts which you can try on the delectable range of shaved ice to cool down the tropical heat. Tong pak Fu is oroganted from Hong Kong where they had opened their door in Hak Po Street in Mongkok, Hong Kong. Within three to five months, the desserts had attracted a long queues every night and the popularity had gained Tong Pak Fu as one of the top leader in the business of ice desserts.

We started of with the Chinese Traditional “Tong Sui” which is bringing back the traditional Cantonese desserts. We started with their Black glutinous rice cream with coconut milk. Ginger snow ice is another desserts is indeed a special dessert which is in the line. The ginger snow ice is full of the ginger aroma but I am not really in love with it as I am not a fans of ginger. For a fans of ginger, I can bet you will fall in love with it as the thick smells of gingers as well as the cold in your mouth and warm in the throat is indeed what we felt overall in the dessert. It is served with the cooling Grass jelly as well as the fun and playful sago and crystal pearls.

Next, we are craving for one of my favorite which is the king of fruit. The dessert is by the name Tracka Durian Snow Ice can be smell from afar. The Tracka durian pulp is being sifted to remove the fibers and it had resulting the fine and exquisite shaved ice dessert. The delicate rich flavor of durinan is indeed leaving the lingering pleasant taste in the mouth.

Chilled mango sago crème with pomelo and mango ice-cream is indeed a flavorful desserts as well. The desserts is made of the imported mangoes from Philipines. The desserts is indeed delectable with the mango and the mango ice creams which is floating on top of the golden yellow mango juices. You can find the mango cubes, sago pearls , pomelo pulp and the crystal pearls which is being served together in the desserts. The sweetness of the mango and the bitter sourish pomelo pulp is indeed making the overall desserts simply delighting and irrestible.
