PUTIEN RESTAURANT, 1 UTAMA

March 9, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

PUTIEN restaurant is a new icon of meal located in 1 Utama. It is a modest eatery specializing in Heng Hwa cuisine, offers an oasis of simple indulgences. The restaurant is well decorated and it is located at the Old Wing of 1 Utama just next to the Johnny Steamboat restaurant and the way the design of the restaurant is nice and plain. We had made our order there since we love venture new things.

Fried Heng Hwa Bee Hoon where the Heng Hwa Bee Hoon is made from old rice milled by hand in Putian. The bee hoon is translucent, silky fine, chewy but not brittle. The flavor of bee hoon comes from the rich, milky stock of pork bones and old hens cooked for houtrs at head. It is then being infused with 10 sumptous ingridients, and the dish is one of the crowd favourite.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 15.90 ( small)

Deep Fried Tenggiri Fish is where the Tenggiri Fish is being deep fried till crispy goodness and the fish is moist in the inside and golden brown at the outside. The fish is being served together with their homemade sauce which is very delighting and flavoring.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 5.90/ pc. ( Minimum 2 pcs)
RM 16.90/3 pcs

We also made an order of the Braised Homemade Beancurd which is nothing to shout out. The beancurd is soft and it is well braised.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 7.90

Last but not least, we had the Putien Sweet and Sour Pork with Lychees where the pork is being Deep- fried to light golden brown and the meat is tender and moist on the inside. The lychee is a perfect compliments with its added burst of sweetness in the sauce.
