TYPICA CAFÉ, SHAW PARADE

January 25, 2012 by StrawberrY Gal

Typica Cafe in Shaw Parade is my recent visit which attracted me so long to go there. The cafe is being reviewed at 8TV which makes me feel like going there after that. Typica specializes in drip/syphon coffee.

– The choices of packet coffee-

– How Coffee is Blend-

When you step into the shop, you will feeling like you entering some Taiwanese style of coffee house with the old look. This place is not really roomy as they only have few tables there only and the café is well decorated with the old “recycle” table and chair.

The coffee which YH had is the “Ice Drip Gula Melaka Coffee”. The coffee is served with the glass with a love shape cube of gula melaka. The taste of the coffee is slightly bitter sweet when you first taste it as the gula melaka had not melted. It has the strong coffee smell which is nice and the mild gula melaka is well blended with the coffee.
Price: RM 14.00

As for me, I ordered the coffee with Pandan Flavor Milk, It is a unique combination. The taste of coffee with a sip and the smells of pandan is well made and mix together. It is slightly bitter but still fragant in taste.
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 14

Last but not least we had a offee with rose tea and honey where the fragreant coffee is added with the beautiful rose tea scattered on top. The rose tea is smells very nice on its fragrant and it is beautifully made.
Price: RM 15

We ordered two cakes to be accompanied with our coffee buds. One is the Mango Delights a sweet taste buds and a recommended cake for us. The Mango Delights is sweet in taste but it not extremely sweet but you can smell the mango taste when it is served on our tables.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 10.00

Fresh fruit cream cake is one of the other order we made. The delicious cream cake where they comes with fresh fruit on it
Taste:4/5
Price: RM 10.00
