BUBU ROOFTOP RESTOLOUNGE, ANGGUN KL

December 15, 2011 by StrawberrY Gal

Anggun KL is a place not to be missed if you are planning to have a nice romantic holiday in KL. The Anggun Boutique Hotel along Tengkat Tong Shin just adjacent to Jalan Alor and the hotel looks very authentic and beautifully made. I am coming for food from the hotel.

The hotel management is launching their menu and the restaurant to the public. The restaurant is located at the rooftop of the hotel and you can enjoy your meals with the beautiful view of KL. It is simply relaxing and enjoying the moments and the place is a great place for food as well.

The place is simply beautiful decorated with “bubu”. The “bubu” is a equipment which is used in kampung (villages) to catch fishes. The name of Bubu comes from here where the restaurant is decorated with bubu which is being customized into beautiful lights. Lets see what we dine

Wild Mushroom Soup is where the mushroom are freshly blend to make the soup and you can taste bit and bites of the real mushroom taste. It is quite thick in terms of textures as well.
Price: RM 9.00

Indian mamak mee is one of the noodles which is recomended. The fried rice comes with minced chicken meat and the yellow noodle is fried till kinda dry. The noodles serves nice and delighting with a slight spiciness on it.
Price: RM 15.00

Pineapple Fried Rice is also one of the Thai famous dine. The pineapple fried rice is well fried with pineapples, and minced chicken meat with it. The portion is good enough for one.
Price: RM 18.00

The chicken rendang is where the chicken is cut in to pieces and served with thick curry. The curry is simply thick and it is full of the Indian herbs aroma with it.
Price: RM 20.00

Vegetable Medley is where a variety of vegetables is being stir fried. It includes cauliflower, brocolli as well as carrot.
Price: RM 15.50

Bubu’s Spicy Prawns where the prawns are being cooked with lots of spice and it spicy. The prawns are fresh as well.
Price: RM 16.00

Fish tikka masala is another punjabi cuisine which the dish is a curry dish of fsh in spicy masala sauce. The sauce is simply creamy and kinda spicy. The taste to me is slightly salty perhaps is due to the chily paste.
Price: RM 18.50

Last but not least, we are served with ice creams to complete the meal with the desserts. We served with Banana Split which comes with 3 scopes of ice cream and a mint leave. Three scope of ice creams which is being served are vanilla, chocolate and yam as well as slices of banana.
Price: RM7.90

Banana Flambe is another dessert being served where the banana rolled in a thin pancake with choc and ice cream.
