HENG KEE BAK KUT TEH, JAYA ONE

April 25, 2011 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Heng Kee BAK KUT TEH is one of the shop which is offering a nice BAK KUT TEH. The new shop which is located at Jaya One. The shop is one of branches of Heng Kee. I had been to the one in PJ Old Town but wondering is it the same one not. The restaurant is clean and is spacious. We had the menu at our hand but looks like the menu is quite confusing as well. We are not too sure how can we orcder the food as they listed the food by the section of the pig like intestine, rib bone and all one by one. As so, we are wondering if we are going to order a bowl of each we want to eat and at last we notice we can order combination.

Yau Char Kuih is a must for us while having BAK KUT TEH . The yau char kuih here is not bad , quite crunchy but a bit soft.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 2.00

The BAK KUT TEH is super good. I am loving it . It is serves with intestines, pork rib and 3 layer meat as per our request on the piggy portion. The soup is very nice as it serves a nice herbal taste and the soup is really thick. The soup is added with “tong Kuai” as well as “ Gei Chi” .
Taste: 5/5
Price: RM 12.50/ pax

* The price are subjected to 5% service tax
