SEKINCHAN IKAN BAKAR, SRI GOMBAK

February 4, 2011 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Sekinchan Ikan Bakar is one of the famous Malay style ikan bakar which is a debut for the Malay. Recently, they had open a branch in Batu Caves around Sri Gombak area. The restaurant is quite big as it accomadates 2 floor of the corner shop houses. The restaurant is having a hazzerd free parking as well.

What they served? They served assorted type of seafood for you to bakar. This includes sea shells, fishes and more. They also served nasi lemak as well. The seafood are quite expensive where prawns are RM 10 / piece as well as squids. The seafood are not really very fresh as well.

Nasi Lemak – The coconut flavoured rice with sambal as well as ikan bilis is really superb. The coconut milk rice is really umph with the spicy sambal which makes it even more even a great combination.
Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 2.00

– The Kuah-

Ikan Ayam which is being BBQ is one of the order. The taste is more like assam fish and being BBQ and wrapped with the banana leaf. The ikan ayam is really pricy compared to Chinese Style BBQ
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 32.00

Ikan Pari which is a small portion is also being cooked at the same way where it is being BBQ and poured with the thai chilly sauce ontop. The taste is not really delighting and the portion is small.
Taste: 3/5
Price: RM 21.00

Teh Ais
Price: RM 1.80

Teh O’ Ais Laici
Price: RM 2.00

Teh Sekinchan Ais
