Dim sum and curry mee @ kedai kopi ah wah, teluk intan, jalan sg nibong

September 14, 2009 By StrawberrY Gal - Food Review Leave a Comment

Kedai Kopi Ah Wah is dear mum’s favorite. This shop is located at Jalan Sungai Nibong. When I heard this, it easily get into my mind since this is one of the location in Penang. This shop is famous for the Curry Mee and you need to be early in order to grab a bite of it.

So, in the early morning we went to grab a taste of this delicious oishi oishi curry mee. The curry here can say is a bit different as the curry is more thick than in Penang. As we have to wait for the curry mee, dear also ordered a dim sum.
The dim sum taste is very nice but jus lots of Ajinamoto only. I think so

We ordered the curry mee .. and now is arrived. The curry mee is simply nice with the thick curry paste. The curry mee here is comes with chicken meat instead of prawns. In here, the curry served with chicken meat as well as tau kua and some “ham” only. Comparable to Penang is a bit different. Taste wise.. here they don’t use much santan comparable Penang as what i can taste is not the thick santan taste but here is more on the curry paste itself.

Overall the food here is simply nice and much recommended.

Taste: 4/5
Price: RM 3 per bowl ( portion is big)
Address: Kedai Kopi Ah Wah, Jalan Sg Nibong, Teluk Intan, Perak
