XIN XIN KEI RESTAURANT @ DESA AMAN PURI

November 6, 2015 by StrawberrY Gal

XIN XIN KEE, AMAN SURIA

It had been nearly a year since we had Bak Kut Teh and recently we found out another BKT outlet which is just next to Fei Fei Crab where I usually had my seafood galore there. The restaurant not just famed for its bak kut teh but also its steam fish.

With the selection of soup and dry bak kut teh, the soup bak kut teh brings you with the herbal aromatic soup, with the great portion of meat in it.The meat remains tender and juicy too.

One Bone Pot (Yat Zhi Kuat)
For those who have the pork knuckle version of bak kut teh, Xin Xin Kee Restaurant have them too. The lovely bowl of soup with the pork knuckle which is cooked for hours remains its moist and tender meat and it is full of collagen too.

Dry BKT (RM 12 or 1 person portion)
For those who are looking for Dry BKT, I found Xin Xin BKT comes pretty unique with the lady finger’s and dried chili together. They brings us with the aromatic delights and comes with the creamy distict black sauce with it. Brings you a light kick of spiciness.

Pork Intenstine BKT (RM 12)
Deliciously done with the chewy texture.

Ginger Duck(RM 14)
The ginger duck does not disappoint us too with the creamy caramelized sauce and not just that, the meat come moist and tender without any distinct duck aromas.

Rice Wine Chicken (RM 28)
This is one of my favorites especially when I am having this, I am thinking those days during confinement. Filled wih the generous portion of ginger, Chinese wine in it, the soup comes simply flavourful with the tender chicken meat in it. Nicely done with the thick gingery soup blend in it.

Steam Fish (RM32.00)
Loving this so much, the steam fish comes awesomely good where the fish is well steamed till perfection leaving the flaky meat texture as well as the garlic taste in it. Nice and good.

Melaka Nyonya Steam Fish (RM 16.80)
This is also a good one where the uniquely presented steam fish where it is topped with the pineapple, pepper flakes, and parsley. The delicious platter is such an indulgence for me who love spicy sourish taste.

Salted Vegetables Hot & Sour dish (RM8)
