BITS KITCHEN, KOTA DAMANSARA

From the name of Bits and Pieces, a boutique yet a restaurant, now the shop had renamed as Bits Kitchen which focusing on the food itself after the boutique partner left. Ms Mei Ding, the owner and also the chef, is only 26 years old with the talent in cooking had prepared great delicious food on the table. She is graduated from Taylors College culinary arts and working with several hotels as well as learning from her family business, she is now the owner of Bits Kitchen in Kota Damansara. Simple restaurant where does not have much decoration, the restaurant simply a great place to dine with good food.

– Red Yeast Sandwich-

One should never miss their signature dish known as Red Yeast Sandwich in Bits Kitchen. The bread is specially made and has the circular red patterns which contains what is referred to in Japanese as Koji.By using the Red Yeast on the bread itself, it is said that yeast contains several ingredients that help control cholesterol level. We tried out the soft shell crab as stuffing which is pretty special and when it much with it, it gives the crispy crunchy taste.

Similarly, the Bamboo Charcoal Sandwich, it is also done with the circular black pattern with it. The charcoal sandwich served together with the chicken ham and egg fillings which again didn’t disappoint us at all. The fluffy bread texture as well as the fresh ingridients makes the sandwich completely good and savoring.

The Oriental Spicy Angel Hair Pasta, the fusion style of dish where it is a combination of the pasta and pan mee style. The delicious Oriental Spicy Angle Hair is served with the combination of the minced chicken, egg, onions and also dried prawns in it. The special dish I could say and it comes well and delicious too.

Next comes is the Black Pepper Fried Udon. Using the high quality grounded black pepper instead of bottled black pepper from the hypermarket; hence we can grabs the pepper bits while slurping with the noodles. Lovely noodles to grab off and I really love it so much.

Signature Magnolia Butter Milk Chicken gives a buttery, creamy and a hint of light spiciness. Juicy and tender chicken with the buttery taste of egg floss topping on to it makes it even perfect. Well, the dish which hails all the way from her chef’s father. The tender chicken is juicy and the fragrance and the hint of kam heung can be tasted as well.

Deep Fried Soft Shell Crab with Creamy Garlic Spaghetti is bringing the creamy taste of the spaghetti. Added with the Carbonara Sauce, the spaghetti do bring up the taste and it is just right on its taste. It is topped wih two scrumptious crispy soft shell crab on top which makes it even worth for the money.

Homemade Special Fried Chicken with Mango Sauce, is nothing to shout about but the mango sauce which is being served with it makes the overall special. Own blended mango sauce which is blended from pure mango brings a zesty lemonade flavour with the fragrance mango taste can be tasted from the sauce itself.

Beautiful Breakfast not just served during breakfast but all day long do impress me as well. The platters are served with layers of egg, ham, hash brown and cheese. Well made pancake with is fluffy texture and served together with the maple sauce with it together, the beautiful breakfast is just amazing and lovely. I love the texture of the pancakes itself too.
