A Penang Style of Food @ Rest. Lorong Seratus Tahun, SS2

December 18, 2009 by StrawberrY Gal

Restaurant Seratus Tahun after renovation is indeed a good place for meal. Neverless, the food quality and taste had improved a lot comparable the long past visit i went.
Of the famous of this restaurant is the curry mee which is a signature dish of the shop. As usual like Penang, the curry are seperated where you add the curry paste on your own. The curry mee is the usual curry mee where you can choose with mee, or bihun, some prawns and tau kua as well as bean sprout as well. Though is not as nice as my favorite nyonya curry mee, but the taste is very delighting as well as it is hard to find a tasty Penang food in KL . Haiz..
Dear ordered the Kapitan Chicken Rice which is very nice as well. The curry is very thick with the coconut milk which taste nice. The portion is normal but having them is also quite full
Besides, we also ordered the Chee Cheong Fan as well. Chee Cheong Fan here is nice. This can say to be the nicest chee cheong fan i had in KL . As iit has the taste like what i had in Penang. The Penang Chee cheong Fan as well is the one adding in the Sweet Paste as well as the Shrimp paste together.
Overall is real nice.
Today, i had a coffee where today is a bit disappointment compare to the last time i had which is more creamy. This time, is not as creamy as i took the last time .. haiz.. but it still taste nice
Taste:
Curry Mee: 4/5
Kapitan Curry Chicken Rice: 4/5
Chee Cheong Fan: 5/5
Kopi (HOT) :3/5
Price:
Curry Mee: RM 6.50
Kapitan Curry Chicken Rice: RM 8.50
Chee Cheong Fan: RM 4.80
Kopi (HOT) :RM 2.80
