Coca-Cola Marks Dual Milestones of 90 Years of presence in Malaysia and 15 Years of Growth in Negeri Sembilan

July 15, 2026 by StrawberrY Gal

Coca Cola marks two significant milestones in Malaysia this year as The Coca-Cola Company celebrates 90 years anniversary and Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia celebrates 15 years of operations at its Bandar Enstek manufacturing and distribution hub, in Negeri Sembilan.

For nine decades, Coca-Cola has grown alongside Malaysia, building lasting relationships with consumers, customers, communities and business partners while continuing to invest in the country’s growth. One of the most significant milestones in that commitment is Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia’s Bandar Enstek manufacturing and distribution hub, which has become a cornerstone of the company’s operations since commencing operations in 2010.

Over the past 15 years, the company has invested more than RM1.3 billion in Malaysia, creating employment opportunities for over 1,400 Malaysians while supporting a network of local suppliers, partners and businesses. Today, the facility supports the production and distribution of Coca-Cola’s beverage portfolio nationwide.

“Celebrating 90 years in Malaysia and 15 years at Bandar Enstek is more than a milestone for Coca-Cola. It reflects the trust that generations of consumers, customers, employees and business partners have placed in us over the years, and we are grateful for the role they have played in our journey,” said Tolga Cebe, Chief Executive Officer of Coca-Cola Bottling Investments Group (BIG) Southeast Asia (Singapore, Malaysia, Myanmar, Brunei)

“We are grateful for the trust and support we have received over the years, which enabled us to continue growing and evolving with the country. As we look ahead, we remain committed to investing in our people, strengthening our capabilities and creating long-term value through our operations and partnerships in Malaysia,” added Cebe.

Today, Bandar Enstek is one of Coca-Cola’s most advanced manufacturing and distribution hubs in the region. Investments in automation, digitalisation and supply chain innovation have strengthened operational efficiency, enhanced product quality and improved business resilience. The facility features advanced technologies such as its Automated Storage and Retrieval System (ASRS), alongside sustainability initiatives including rooftop solar panels and rainwater harvesting systems.

These investments also support Coca Cola Bottlers Malaysia’s broader digital transformation efforts across the business. By leveraging data, automation and emerging technology, including AI-enabled solutions for the leading FMCG EB2B portal (Coke Buddy) in Malaysia, the company continues to strengthen productivity, enhance operational capabilities and support long-term growth.

As a Halal-certified facility operating to globally recognised standards in quality, food safety and environmental management, Bandar Enstek plays an important role in serving Malaysian consumers while supporting regional operations in Singapore and Brunei.

Beyond manufacturing, the hub has also become a platform for developing local talent, creating quality employment opportunities and supporting a strong ecosystem of suppliers and business partners. These efforts reflect Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia’s broader commitment to contributing to Malaysia’s economic and social development.

The company also continues to invest in initiatives that support packaging circularity, renewable energy, water stewardship and resource conservation. Working alongside government agencies, industry partners and local organisations, Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia supports broader efforts to advance Malaysia’s circular economy ambitions and sustainability goals.

Building on the foundations established at Bandar Enstek, Coca-Cola Bottlers Malaysia will continue investing in its people, operations and partnerships while creating long-term value for consumers, customers, employees and communities across Malaysia.
