Shang Palace

From 1 to 10 May 2026, Shang Palace presents an elegant eight-course Mother’s Day set menu, featuring nourishing double-boiled soup, offering a clear, delicate broth with gentle depth and natural sweetness, setting a comforting and restorative tone. This is followed by the signature Peking duck, where crisp, golden skin delivers a satisfying crunch, giving way to tender, succulent meat with rich, savoury layers.

The golden cereal butter prawns deliver a fragrant, buttery crunch with a lightly caramelised finish, while the stir-fried cod fish with bell peppers offers a delicate, flaky texture with subtle sweetness and a clean, elegant flavour profile. The stir-fried scallops with Chinese yam and asparagus balance natural seafood sweetness with crisp vegetal freshness, creating a light yet refined mouthfeel. The shredded duck truffle noodles add deeper complexity, with earthy truffle aroma woven through savoury duck richness, resulting in a comforting and aromatic dish.

A refreshing mandarin sorbet with pomelo follows, providing a bright citrus lift with zesty notes and a gentle bittersweet finish that cleanses the palate. To conclude, desserts of rose-infused milk chocolate mousse and osmanthus panna cotta bring a floral and silky finish, combining soft sweetness, fragrant blossoms, and smooth textures for an elegant final note to the experience.
