 This Lunar New Year, Le Meridien Putrajaya invites families and friends to gather in celebration of prosperity, happiness, and cherished moments with an extraordinary dining experience at Le Mei Chinese Restaurant.

Under the masterful guidance of Chef Lim and his culinary team, Le Mei presents four luxurious Chinese New Year set menus, meticulously crafted with the finest ingredients and authentic flavors. Each dish is thoughtfully designed to embody auspicious symbolism, reflecting wishes for prosperity, happiness, and good fortune. As we gallop into the Year of the Horse, a year celebrated for energy, success, and forward momentum, these menus invite guests to embrace new beginnings and the promise of abundance. Beyond exquisite flavors, the offerings celebrate the spirit of togetherness, honoring the cherished moments shared with family and friends during this festive season.

No Lunar New Year celebration is complete without the iconic Yee Sang, the vibrant “toss for prosperity” salad. Guests can indulge in an array of premium Yee Sang options, each brimming with symbolic ingredients to usher in wealth, health, and good fortune for the year ahead:

LE MEI ‘YEE SANG’ 

• Snow Pear Yee Sang (medium priced at MYR65 and large at MYR128) 

• Salmon Yee Sang (medium priced at MYR98 and large at MYR188)

• Salmon Roe, Clam Arctic Surf, Tosaka Nori Green Yee Sang 

• Salmon Fish, Fish Skin, Salmon Roe Yee Sang 

(medium priced at MYR118 and large at MYR218)

• Four Seasons Prosperity Yee Sang (Tosaka Nori green, Salmon, Snow Pear, Clam Arctic Surf) (medium priced at MYR128 and large at MYR228)

Whole Abalone Yee Sang (medium priced at MYR198 and large at MYR388)

Le Mei presents four luxurious Chinese New Year set menus, meticulously crafted with the finest ingredients and authentic Cantonese flavors. Each dish delights the palate with delicate, harmonious taste profiles—from the silky textures of expertly steamed seafood to the rich, savory layers of slow-cooked meats—showcasing the elegance and finesse Cantonese cuisine is celebrated for. Beyond taste, every dish carries auspicious symbolism: whole fish for abundance, dumplings for wealth, and sweet desserts for happiness and harmony. Together, these thoughtfully curated offerings create not only a feast for the senses but also a meaningful celebration, perfect for gathering loved ones and making cherished memories during the Lunar New Year.

For Chinese New Year 2026, indulge in our must-try lucky dishes that promise both flavor and prosperity. Delight in Dalian Abalone—available per portion of four—steamed with black bean and Thai chili sauce, served sizzling in a claypot with our extraordinary sauce, or steamed with minced garlic and vermicelli. Savor the “Hakka Style” Salt-Cured Duck with hispid fig root, enjoy the bold and spicy “Sichuan Style” Wok-Fried Jumbo Tiger Prawns with chili and pepper, and complete your feast with Fried Rice with Otak-Otak and Extraordinary Sauce, a playful yet luxurious twist on a classic. Each dish is crafted to bring luck, joy, and a delicious start to the year ahead.
