Embark on a fairy-tale adventure at Suria KLCC’s ‘Picnic in the Park’!

June 19, 2024 by StrawberrY Gal

Suria KLCC, Malaysia’s iconic experiential shopping destination, is thrilled to announce the return of its highly anticipated “Picnic in the Park” experience. After the phenomenal success of its debut in 2023, this bespoke event promises an even more enchanting experience this year. From June 7 to June 21, shoppers can redeem a place in this exclusive outdoor celebration. Commencing with a media event today, the picnics will take place on Saturdays and Sundays between June 15 and June 23.

Shoppers who spend RM2,500 and above in two receipts from June 7 to June 21, 2024, will be eligible to redeem a “Picnic in the Park” experience for four people. This exclusive and intimate event, limited to 55 groups of four per day, offers a money-can’t-buy outdoor retreat at KLCC Park. Attendees will enjoy breathtaking views of the Petronas Twin Towers and the KLCC Lake Symphony from sunset to nightfall, between 5 pm and 8:30 pm.

“We are ecstatic to bring back Suria KLCC’s ‘Picnic in the Park’ experience for a second year,” said Francis Tan, CEO of Suria KLCC Sdn Bhd. “This event allows us to showcase the beauty of KLCC Park and offers our valued shoppers a truly unique and memorable experience. With its enchanting setup and exclusive activities, this event is bound to be an extraordinary affair that guests will cherish.”

A Whimsical Garden Fairies Theme

Attendees will be welcomed into a whimsical ‘Garden Fairies’ themed setting, complete with Instagram-worthy picnic setups of teepee tents and picnic benches adorned with décor such as floral arrangements and fairy lights. Each group will receive a carefully curated picnic basket with an assortment of thoughtful picnic accessories and goodies, including Guardian sunscreen, wet wipes, and Buzzaway Patch; a Remax mini handheld fan; a Toys “R” Us non-toxic bubble wand and activity book; along with mineral water and more.

Delectable Delights and Sweet Treats

The experience also includes a delectable meal from Burger & Lobster, complemented by delightful treats from the flaaah with ONO station, offering a lovely selection of hojicha, matcha, and pastries. Additionally, guests can satisfy their sweet tooth with novelty cotton candy and ice cream from dedicated booths.

Engaging Activities and Magical Ambiance

Adding to the magical ambiance, costumed fairies will go on walkabouts, engage with guests for photo opportunities, and host themed activities such as flower crown making. Other engaging activities include decorated photo spots where guests can don fairy wings for memorable photos with complimentary Instax print-outs, and flower balloon sculpting.

Guests can also indulge in hand massages, succulent planting, and fragrance layering workshops provided by The Body Shop, as well as get makeovers at a station by Gucci Beauty. The thrill of a lucky draw will heighten the excitement for the evening, featuring fabulous prizes sponsored by Burger & Lobster and Hoka.

Musical Performances and Grand Finale

Once again, the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra will serenade guests with mesmerizing performances by a string quintet. The evening will culminate in a spellbinding display of the Lake Symphony Fountain Show, providing a perfect ending to a magical evening.
