As the sacred month of Ramadan approaches, EQ Kuala Lumpur, a bastion of luxury and gastronomic excellence, is poised to elevate the traditional Iftar experience to unprecedented heights.

Breaking away from conventions, this year, EQ introduces not one but two extraordinary Ramadan culinary journeys— “Citarasa Nipah” and “EQ Bazaar.” These meticulously crafted experiences promise a harmonious blend of traditional Malay flavors and contemporary innovations, creating an ambiance that transcends the ordinary and fosters togetherness.

Citarasa Nipah: A Gastronomic Odyssey

At the heart of Citarasa Nipah lies a gastronomic odyssey led by the culinary virtuoso, Chef Zaini. This classic Iftar experience at Nipah encapsulates the essence of Malay culinary heritage.

Don’t miss out the variety of salads and kerabu such as the kerabu kacang botol, kerabu betik, kerabu mangga and many more.

Amidst the elegant setting, patrons can indulge in a plethora of delights, including a tantalizing whole roast lamb grilled to perfection, the delightful siakap tiga rasa, the savory daging dendeng berlada, and the comforting bubur lambuk.

Adding a contemporary twist to the culinary narrative, Nipah introduces the groundbreaking Nipah Shell Out—a seafood extravaganza featuring lala, mussels, bamboo clams, and crabs in signature flavors: kam heong, sweet and sour, and salted egg.

Don’t miss out the wide variety of selection of grills from satay,  as well as the seafood on ice and many more.

They do offer a wide variety of desserts which covers from the kuih muih, to rojak and also the selections of cakes and pasteries as well as their awesome rojak.

Price: RM238+ per adult, RM114+ per child (6 to 12 years old)

Early Bird Promotion: RM198+ per adult (12 to 17 March and 7 to 9 April 2024)

2. EQ Bazaar: A Novel Culinary Expedition:

Introducing a novel culinary expedition, EQ Bazaar, promises an immersive experience into the vibrant world of Malay street food. This culinary marketplace, set on Level 1, beckons patrons to explore an array of tantalizing offerings, including ayam golek, roti John, sweet treats, finger foods, and small bites. EQ Bazaar unfolds as an unprecedented Ramadan happening, inviting guests to savor these delectable delights in air-conditioned comfort.

EQ Bazaar Details:

Dates: 12 March to 9 April 2024

Time: 6:30 PM to 10:30 PM daily

Early Bird Promotion: RM148+ per adult, RM74+ per child (12 to 17 March 2024)

Regular Price: RM168+ per adult, RM84+ per child (18 March to 9 April 2024)

Group Dining: RM148+ per adult (minimum 10 diners per reservation)
