Vietjet unveils its first wide-body aircraft emblazoned with Vietnam’s tourism logo

July 25, 2023 by StrawberrY Gal

Vietjet recently welcomed a new aircraft into its fleet, featuring Vietnam’s tourism symbol “Vietnam – Timeless charm”. This is part of the sponsorship agreement with Vietnam National Authority of Tourism to boost tourism and promote Vietnam globally.

This wide-body aircraft, registered VN-A814, embarked on its first flight on July 12. It will be operating both the domestic and international routes as an ambassador to promote Vietnam’s rich culture and tourism to travelers across the globe. Vietjet also previously had A320 and A321 aircraft bearing the Vietnam’s Tourism and Ho Chi Minh City’s Tourism symbols.

Passengers traveling to and from Kuala Lumpur to Ho Chi Minh City will also be able to catch a glimpse of the new tourism symbol as Vietjet’s A330 also flies between Malaysia and Vietnam. Operating on a daily basis, flights between the two cities gives passengers more flexibility and flight options when planning their travels.

Vietjet’s fleet, adorned with the red and yellow hues of the Vietnamese flag along with the melodious tune of “Hello Vietnam” paired with the tourism symbols will certainly attract more tourists to visit this beautiful country that is rich in culture, history and charm.

Furthermore, Vietjet’s aircrafts convey meaningful messages about environmental protection with slogans such as “I love my Fatherland”. Over the years, Vietjet’s fleet has become a familiar sight to international travelers and is welcomed at airports across Asia and Europe. These aircrafts are not just a mode of transport but it also introduces Vietnam to the world by showcasing the country’s friendly and hospitable nature that welcomes everyone.

Vietjet is currently operating seven A330 aircrafts, with plans to expand its fleet of 87 aircrafts – including 9 Airbus A330 wide-body aircrafts this year, in order to maintain its market leader’s position in terms of passenger volume and efficiency in Vietnam. The A330 aircraft featuring Vietnam’s Tourism symbol will fly Vietjet passengers to destinations in Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Indonesia, China, South Korea, Japan, India, Kazakhstan, Australia and more in future.
