Thai Hou Sek @ Mid Valley : Your Porky Thai Food!

September 11, 2022 by StrawberrY Gal

Being big fans of Thai Food, it is always good to be back to Thai Hou Sek. Thai Hou Sek is a Thai Restaurant that is famed for its Thai Delights the idea came back is where they would love to have the street -inspired restaurant was conceived in 1995 from a trip to Bangkok where Thai-Chinese Comfort food can be found effortlessly in any street, corner, and nook of the city.
And being that, one can enjoy an awesome delicious pork-licious meal that never disappoints us anyhow.

Thai-Hou-Share Platter (RM 37)
A platter of sharing. This is indeed a great platter for those looking for more variety in one plate. The platter comes with all the goodness and best selling items in one plate. This includes the Pandan Chicken, Babi-Q Skewer, and the Thai Fish Cake. They are such a wonderful dish to go for especially for sharing. Yummy!
Seafood Tomyam ( RM 31.90)
Being in a Thai Restaurant, Tomyam is one of the musts to have. Here; they come with two choices of tomyam soup where one is the seafood tomyam and another will be the Siu Yuk Tom Yam. We had the Seafood Tomyam where you can go for the red or clear tomyam of your choice. The Tomyam here is marvelous and it brings you a nice kick of spiciness with the wonderful ingredients which include prawns, squids, mussels and fish. So delicious!
Stir Fried Baby Kailan (RM 17.90)
A homey dish like what our grandmother cooked! And here you can enjoy them with the choice of siew yok or Japanese Tofu and Salted Egg. Being a pork lover, we definitely go for the siew yok which is super delicious, and double thumbs up!
Pork-ilicious Green Curry (RM 27.90)
The wholesome comfort delights is the Green Curry. The thick green curry comes with aromatic curry flavors. Each mouthful is really delicious where you enjoyed a different usual green curry which is packed with pork shoulder meat, siu yuk and pork balls in it.
Steamed Fish & Clams In Spicy Lime Sauce (RM 70.90)
The wholesome dish and we love how they are done. The whole seabass is beautifully steamed with the clams in their signature spicy garlic lime sauce. The fish comes simply fresh with a flaky texture and the broth is sweet, sourish, and with the kick of spiciness in it.
Asides from the usual signature, Thai Ho Sek had launched some of their NEW Menu which is worth trying.

Sticky Nam Tuk Beef Strips (RM 23.90)
The beef Strips come awesomely delicious. A bit of kong poh style but with the kick of spiciness in it. The beef stripes are simply addictive and perfectly caramelized too. Just so good!
Claypot Pork & Leek with Tamarind & Kaffir Lime Leaf (RM 23.90)
A perfect indulgence of a clay pot dish with the twist of Thai in it. The dish is simply delicious with the flavourful chunky pork in it. Perfect for families.
Lotus Root & Thai Fish Cake Stir Fry with Thai Dried Chili  (RM 17.90)
The Lotus Roots with Thai Fish Cake are such a flavourful dish. A twist from our usual stir-fried lotus roots, they had it with the Thai Fish Cake and dried chili in it. Something worth trying!
Claypot Porkilicious Dried BKK
One of the awesome porkliicous dishes in Thai Ho Sek. A spicy kick with aromatic flavors from the dried chilis. Amazingly good and delicious.
Being in a Thai Restaurant, you should not leave if you have not had their desserts.
Tab Tim Krob (RM 14)
The Tab Tim Krob comes amazingly good where they are served with crunchy Thai Rubies, Jackfruits, and Mango Slices. They are served with Coconut Ice Cream and Coconut Milk.
The Mango Sticky Rice (RM 14)
Enjoy the wholesome and addictively delicious Mango Sticky Rice. Here, the sticky rice is perfectly steamed in coconut milk and served together with the sweet mango slices by the side.
So, why not visit Thai Ho Sek now. Quote this Promo code #MfoodiexTHS to claim a FREE  Tab Tim Krab or Coconut Surprise (worth RM14) with any order of ala carte main items ( *main items refers to Sharing Dishes, Rice & Noodles in the ala carte menu.)
