Ippudo Ramen @ The Gardens: Authentic Ramen from Japan

December 18, 2020 by StrawberrY Gal

Ippudo is one of my family favourites and it is one of my favourite dining place when it comes to ramen. Ippudo has been around in the market for quite sometime and we often visit them when we are thinking about ramen.

For those who are not aware, Ippudo started back in 1985 in Fukuoka and now they are having more than 300++ outlets all around the world. And their founder, Shimegi Kawahara sees the restaurant as a stage where each employee plays a role like an actor. From cooking to serving and every move is perfectly choreographed. And Kawahara had also holds a place in the Ramen Hall of Fame after winning TV Champion Ramen Chef 3 times consecutives and also won at the TBS Ramen King competition.

Buta Popcorn (RM 16)

Buta Popcorn is one of my favourite here. The buta popcorn comes simply delicious and addictive. The popcorn comes simply addictive and this crispy bite sized pork bites are served together with the special homemade sauce. And, this is perfectly pared with beer or even sake.

Wagyu Beef  Bun (RM 19)

Another must try is their Wagyu Beef Bun. You can now enjoy the juicy wagyu beef patty which is perfectly marinated in the special sauce and they served with lettuce and cheese in a steamed bun. They are just so good and the meat is so juicy!

Salmon Roll (RM 30) (6pcs)

The Salmon Rolls is definitely a hidden treasure here. I am love with the lightly seared salmon roll which is lightly seared fresh salmon roll topped with the mentaiko, black ebiko and cucumber. They are perfectly done and every mouthful is such an indulgence.

And of course, MUST HAVE in Ippudo is their ramen. In Ippudo, their Tonkotsu Pork Broth is imported all the way from Japan and they are boiled for more than 15 hours ensuring that each bowl of the soup is filled with the aroma and taste.

Karaka Special (RM 38)

And in Ippudo, one must try their Karaka Ramen which is one of the Ippudo’s original Tonkotsu broth with the spicy miso and ground pork, cashew nuts, bean sprouts, spring onions, salted soft boiled egg, seaweed, pork lion and pork belly. The dish comes awesomely delicious where the noodles are springy and they are served with the tender and juicy pork. As for the soup; they are superb where they are really flavourful and every sip of the soup is heavenly.

Akamaru Special (RM 37)

Another must try is their Akamaru Special. It is one of the Ippudo’s original broth which is enhanced with the spicy blended miso paste and fragrant garlic oil. They are beautifully served with the ultra-thin noodles, pork loin and pork belly, salted soft boiled egg, kikurage, seaweed, bean sprout and the spring onions.

Nama Chocolate Rolls (RM 15)

Nama Chocolate Rolls is one of the must try here. The Nama Chocolate Rolls is served with the delicate combination of chocolate and fresh cream coated in cocoa powder. They are really addictive and once you try them, you will definitely fall in love with it and would love to order more!

And this time, Ippudo welcomes the Year End Special Free Flow Drink Fest where now you can enjoy the great event where they bring you with the Kirin Draught Beer, Kirin Beer Cocktail, Housed Poured Sake and Two (2) Choices of Finger Food at only RM 108++. So why not book your table now with Ippudo. Only applicable at Ippudo Bangsar Shopping Centre & Gurney Plaza from 15 Dec 2020 – 15 January 2021.

So why not hop to Ippudo Ramen and enjoy the awesome delicious ramen.
