Hilton Kuala Lumpur, The BBQ Masters Return To Vasco’s

September 17, 2019 by StrawberrY Gal

Hilton Kuala Lumpur’s international buffet restaurant, Vasco’s, aims to constantly deliver unique flavours from around the world while serving up a variety of authentic cuisine with interactive live cooking stations.

From 1 September – 9 October 2019, Vasco’s will be featuring the Best of Smokehouse BBQ as part of the international buffet. The buffet is priced at only RM188nett per adult and RM68nett per child (aged 6–12). For an additional RM120nett, adults can enjoy a free flow beverage package of selected red and white wine, beer by bottles, soft drinks, and chilled juices.

The barbecue buffet features different types and cuts of meat from various South Western American states, where each state has its own unique sauce, rub, and style of cooking. Texas is famous for smoked brisket, lamb ribs and hot sausages that are traditionally cooked over mesquite wood. Kansas City uses hickory wood, its own rub mix, and thick, sweet sauce for its beef brisket, lamb and beef ribs, chicken and sausages. Memphis is known for their sticky-finger experience with smoked dry and wet ribs, and pulled meats served with a soft bun. Alabama keeps it simple with chicken and soft meat sandwiches. Also big on white meat, Louisiana is all about jerked chicken and BBQ chicken.

No barbecue is complete without complementing sides like collard greens, mac and cheese, corn hush puppies, skillet corn bread, grilled corn, sweet potato and maple syrup mash and coleslaw. A large selection of sauces are available to suit everyone’s palate including sweet mustard sauce, sweet and spicy BBQ sauce, Texas BBQ sauce, Kansas style BBQ sauce, Memphis style BBQ sauce, Carolina style sweet heat sauce, Kentucky style BBQ sauce, Cajun BBQ sauce and Louisiana BBQ sauce.

Located on the lobby level, Vasco’s is open daily from 6:30am until midnight for a la carte dishes. Buffet breakfast is available from 6am 10:30am on weekdays and 6am to 11am on weekends. Buffet lunch and dinner is available from 12:30pm to 3pm and 6:30pm to 10:30pm respectively.

For enquiries and dining reservation, guests may call +603 2264 2264 or send an email to [email protected]
