AN INDIAN SPICE TRAIL SPICES UP THE BUFFET LINE AT NOOK THIS FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS ALL MONTH LONG IN NOVEMBER

 This festival of lights, Nook, Aloft Kuala Lumpur Sentral’s all-day dining restaurant is presenting ‘An Indian Spice Trail’ featuring an enhanced spread of Indian delicacies on the buffet line for dinner. Headlined by Nook’s new Indian Cuisine Chef, Kumeresan Chandra Sagaran, An Indian Spice Trail will be spicing up the buffet line for dinner at Nook from 1-30 November 2018, priced at RM118 nett per person.

The promotion will feature authentic Indian dishes on the buffet, with Chef Kumar, as he is fondly called, serving up a variety of his specialty dishes on a rotational basis on the buffet line daily. 
Chef Kumar’s menu of appetisers will offer diners Potato Masala Salad, Vadai in Yogurt, Chana Chat Salad (Chick Pea Salad), Tandoori Aloo Chat, Potato Bhaji, Coconut Fritters as well as Pakoras Salad. Rassam, a spiced soup dish, will also be available on the buffet with Chef Kumar offering Crab Rassam and Tomato Rassam.

The main spread of casserole dishes will allow diners to indulge in the various Indian curries and Masalas. Amongst the dishes that will be available during this festive promotion are Jera Pulau Rice, Mattar Pulao Rice, Dhal Tarka, Vegetable Sambar, Madras Fish Head Curry, Sri Lankan Fish Curry, Lamb Varuval, Lamb Keema, Chicken Perattal, Chicken Curry Leaf, Bhindi Baigan Masala, Aloo Gobi, Palak Masala, Vegetable Jalfrezi, Cabbage Thoran and Chick Pea Varuval

Nook’s Carving Station will also feature Chef Kumar’s specials with the Roasted Lamb Tandoori with Mint Chutney and Baked Fish with Toum Sauce. The Pizza Station will feature a Chicken Masala Pizza and a Tandoori Chicken Pizza flavour made using Chef Kumar’s recipes.

The popular Indian sweets will be also be featured on the buffet with specials like Rasgula (dumpling in light syrup), Rasmalai (creamy cheese dessert), Coconut Candy, Palgova (milk candy), Mysore Pak (a sweet fudge-like dessert), Laddu (sphere shaped sweets),   Gulab Jamun (milk balls in syrup) and the Payasam, a pudding with vermicelli, raisins, cashew nuts.

Nook’s ‘An Indian Spice Trail’ buffet is priced at RM118 nett per adult and RM59 nett for kids aged 6-12 years old and is available from 1 – 30 November 2018 daily for dinner from 6.30pm to 10.30pm.
