Enak KL @ Starhill Gallery

May 18, 2018 by StrawberrY Gal

Enak KL being one of my favorite restaurant when it comes to Malay Cuisine. And the restaurant recently re-open at the brand-NEW location within the Feast Village Starhill Gallery. Famed for its Malay Cuisine, one is assured to be pampered with these awesomely curated menus that will definitely make you go back for more.
Enak KL offers you with the heart-warming dishes that will definitely brings you a heart warming dishes which is prepared by their skilled chef – Chef Rani Bin Ghazali and the recipes is passed down through generations and featuring exciting selections of dishes to be explored.

Jemput Jemput Udang (RM 15)
The Jemput Jemput Udang comes with the savory prawn fritters with chilies, spring onions and sweet chilies sauce. Nicely done and good. Love the savory flavors.

Kerabu Sotong (RM 15)
The Kerabu Sotong is of course my favorites.  The Spicy squid salad with tomato, lakse leaves, lemongrass, lime juice, wild ginger flower and chillies. Being a fans of kerabus, their kerabu are packed with the sour blend and it is indeed a mouth-watering.

Satay (RM 20)
Enjoy the 1/2 dozen of chicken or beef skewers of your choice where they are perfectly grilled on an open coal fire with a chunky savoury peanut sauce. The satay comes with the chunky and yet moist and tender chicken meat.

Sambal Udang Petai (RM 45)
One of our favorites is of course the Sambal Udang Petai where they brings up with the great flavours of the petai smell together with the pulpy shrimps. Nothing but I can say is so yummy and  the taste is just perfect to my tastebuds.

Sup Ekor (RM 25)
Enjoy the hearty bowl of sup ekor where they are packed with flavours and aromatic. Cooked for hours, the tender oxtail in a rich, savoury broth with star anise, cardamom and cloves, spiced with bird’s eye chillies. And with this, you can taste the delicious blend of soup which is simply flavourful as well. It is simply nice and delicious with the rich flavours.

 Ikan Asam Pedas (RM 35)
For fans of spicy delights, have the sea bass stewed with dried red chillies, tamarind juice, laksa leaves and spiced wild ginger. As for the asam pedas, it comes simply exquisite and they are beautifully plated. Just perfect to have them with a bowl of rice and drenched them with the curry on top.

Bakar ( Grilled)
And their menu comes with their Bakar Selection as well for those who love to get some grill items.  Some of the grill items includes the choice of fresh fish, seasoned with either their tertutip secret glaze or salt and pepper, wrapped in banana leaf and grilled. You can have them with the choices of fish and prawns such as the grouper, seabass, tiliapia, red snapper, and king prawns . For those who love some grilled items, be here to enjoy till the fullest.

And you can also enjoy some delicious desserts in Enak KL as well. Grab their delicious desserts which includes the Bubur Pulut Hitam, Pisang Goreng, ABC (Ais Batu Campur) and Serawa Durian.

Pisang Goreng (RM 15)
We tried the Pisang Goreng where the banana fritters are perfectly deep fried till perfection.  Sides with their spicy sweet thick dark sauce.

Serawa Durian (RM 20)
Love this where you can enjoy the King of Fruits in the fresh coconut mik and palm sugar with the steamed glutinous rice and lacy pancakes.

Overall, for those who love to get a taste of Malaysia, be sure to visit Enak KL.
